- Touch

- Oops

- No More Sad Songs

- Power

we can all agree on these 4 songs being singles.

I really want a 5th single, even if it flops and let's face it - LM are huge now, so any single will reach top 40 even in the worst case scenario.

Agreed with this these NEED to be the singles from the Album

2nd single -Touch

3rd single -Oops ft Charlie Puth (not my favourite but it's a smart single choice especially in the US with the Charlie feature)

4th single- No More Sad Songs

5th Single- Power (I NEED a video for this and if it was the 5th It wouldn't really matter too much how it does in the charts as it would be the 5th Single from the Album)

Given this era's success, it's even more baffling they haven't announced more UK dates yet.... Havent the current dates sold out or?

Touch is basically a Fifth Harmony song. Barely sounds like LM in places and the lyrics, production make it very 7/27 worthy.

I love Fifth Harmony so this is a VERY GOOD thing obviously, easily my album highlight after SOTME and You Gotta Not ~

Fifth Harmony didn't invent tropical house you know...

Lmao yes I am aware of that and i'm not even solely talking about the tropical house influences if you read my post ~ I said the vocals, lyrics and production. Calm down.

I just don't see the similarities. I'd see it more in other songs tbh, I'm not a big fan of Touch.

JUST

ONE

TOUCH

OF YOUR LOOOOOVE

^ Touch acoustic providing my favourite part of the whole album

(oh and I can defo imagine 5H singing Touch, and I mean that as a compliment as I love 5H!)

Yeah Touch is definitely quite 5H but that isn't meant pejoratively at all, 5H are, like Little Mix, a world class girlband even though LM are much better ;) Touch still has that Little Mix stamp on it so it's not like it's a shameful carbon clone of 5H, it just sounds like it would fit them too.
No More Sad Songs reminds me most of a FH song!

Yep. And it's better than Touch too. :D

Im really impressed with the strong opening sales for the album, 56k in 2 days, hopefully it can get to 100,000 plus. Glory Days should easuly fly past platinum just before Christmas week itself.

Another excellent album! Save for Down & Dirty and Your Love on the standard, I love everything. A really great mix of pop, some on trend, and some with their classic more edgy sound. It's at least as good as Get Weird for me I think, and that's just based on the first listen, I can tell loads of these will only get better.

Touch, Oops, No More Sad Songs and Nothing Else Matters are my favourites, the latter is almost what I'd imagine Atomic Kitten to release if they put out new material now with decent production. Private Show is a bit of an unexpected jam too, very J.Lo's Get Right with the bassline of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme tune in places!

Not overly fussed on the bonus tracks but I will be buying the deluxe as soon as I can get to an HMV, as I want the DVD. I really think all the supermarkets are missing a trick by not stocking the deluxe...I imagine the concert DVD alone would be a big impulse Xmas stocking/present buy, so I can't understand why they're all only stocking the standard. It also resulted in me not getting it on Friday as I'd have liked, I naively thought the deluxe would be in either Asda or Sainsbury's.

I've had 'Power' stuck in my head since Thursday - what a song!

Honestly, I've seen people (mostly elsewhere) do wayyy too much in regards to this album. Admittedly, some of the tracks are a little questionable ('Down & Dirty' and YGN mainly, but the latter has grown on me immensely), and I imagine this isn't that popular an opinion, but I find 'Nobody Like You' terminally dull and seriously lacking in any melody. Beyond those though, it's a really solid album. SOTME/Touch/Power/NMSS/Private Show/Freak are all among their best tracks imo. SO relieved it's looking set to debut at #1 with huge sales - the initial negative reaction had me concerned that it wouldn't meet expectations.

Popjustice forums by any chance?

Guys

Glory Days can be on Metacritic?

Yes, I can see this being a multiple-week #1, too. Possibly going down to 2 for a couple of weeks but returning before Christmas.

Agree with you on almost everything. The only stuff I'm really not coming back to is Nobody Like You and Down and Dirty... NLY is boring as f*** and D&D is awful.

That's the main culprit yeah, but not overly surprising since they've never been too enamoured with Little Mix's music in general. I do think a lot of their criticism is rather unjust.

Yeah D&D is the worst track by a country mile imo - it's the only song that's yet to even slightly grow on me.

Yeah, they have spectacularly high expectations of the girls, and class 'not good as it could be' as 'outright bad'.

Now, that it's clear they'll be on a world summer world tour this year, I wonder what Little Mix's full plan IS singles wise, we wouldn't be having a Glory Days tour in 2017 if they were bringing out a newer album. So we'll either get 5 singles or a re-release and brand new Q4 single

December/January/February - Single 2 (Probably Touch)

March/April/May - Single 3 (Probably Oops)

June/July/August - Single 4

Q4 - Single 5/Or re-release single.

If we get a re-release, we're unlikely to get one of either Power or No More Sad Songs. :(
