Posted June 9, 20169 yr Hi there, Newish member here (registered ages back but pop on to the forum as a guest mostly), I'm trying to collage any useful links to chart data. I'm familiar with Polyhex, and I used to use a service called everyhit.co.uk before it was abandoned. I check the iTunes chart daily using snkhan.co.uk I check the weekly chart using officialcharts.com/charts/ Are there any other essential resources available that people on this forum use?
June 9, 20169 yr Hi there! Welcome to the forum, hope to see you around more :D You've got most of the essentials there I think, although the Spotify top 200 chart is just as important as the iTunes chart now I'd say, so that link may be worth using!
June 9, 20169 yr I do know of this site http://www.onlineweb.com/theones/2010.htm But its been abandoned for the last 5 years. Also this site http://www.pharoah.co.uk/number-2s-00s.htm But it seems that has been abandoned as well, but I do compile a similar thing on here which you can find in the archive forum, we have passed 1000 number #2s now. Which needs updating when I get some free time. http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39434
June 9, 20169 yr Author Thank you both. As well as websites, over the years have there been things such as apps, magazines, podcasts, videos etc with UK chart info? I'm an avid follower of the charts, especially due to being a long time collector of the original CD compilation series, Now That's What I Call Music which I have on CD from Now 18 onwards.
June 9, 20169 yr Are there any other essential resources available that people on this forum use? For Music Week archive (1971-2000) see: http://scans.chartarchive.org/UK/ For UK #1s: http://www.ukpopcharts.co.uk/uk_number_1s_2010s.htm

There's this http://www.ukchartsplus.co.uk/ which a few of us subscribe to.
June 11, 20169 yr Author There's this ukchartsplus.co.uk which a few of us subscribe to. Thanks vidcapper, Is this subscription similar to the Music Week subscription?
June 11, 20169 yr Author Also just wanted to repost this question from another thread; Thank you Mdh, As for Kworb, I'm still unclear about the various columns and what the bold horizontal numbers mean at the top of the table? Also, is there any site that gives the actual daily number of iTunes streams and purchases?
June 11, 20169 yr Thanks vidcapper, Is this subscription similar to the Music Week subscription? The cost is similar. There's a free example edition you can check out : http://www.ukchartsplus.co.uk/UKChartsPlus463c.pdf
June 11, 20169 yr Also just wanted to repost this question from another thread; The horizontal bold numbers are how long ago the update was, in hours! A figure of 1.2 for example would mean the update is from 1.2 hours ago ^_^ The column of numbers furthest to the left is the most recent update. Digital Sales Data is the closest we have to iTunes purchases but it's only an estimate, it has been proved inaccurate on here but can be handy to estimate with :D

June 11, 20169 yr Thank you both very much! ^_^ The cost is not actually similar - it's £145 for the full edition for 12 months (our most expensive option) while music week is £179. We carry a vast array of charts down to a Top 200 for Singles and are as accurate as possible. We also include many very good features (I would say this as I write them!)but definitely look at the sample issue. Disclaimer - I work for ChartsPlus

June 12, 20169 yr We understand that they are not for everybody - but at least one subscriber only subscribes because we have them... so we have to try and cater to everybody. I'm surprised that anyone would subscribe *just* for those. :o Why do you only do them for stars that've kicked the bucket though? There are a number of living stars who are virtually ever-presents in the charts too...
