June 20, 20169 yr Really hoping Jungle Book adds to this list shortly but I feel like it's going to come just short. Don't see Cap making the top 10 at all now either which is a shame because I hoped it would at the start of the year :(
June 21, 20169 yr Really hoping Jungle Book adds to this list shortly but I feel like it's going to come just short. Don't see Cap making the top 10 at all now either which is a shame because I hoped it would at the start of the year :( Yeah I'd say you were right on both counts. The Jungle Book looks like it'll come frustratingly close. It pulled in over $8 million internationally last weekend, but that'll drop fairly quickly now. It doesn't have enough steam left in it to pull in another $80 million. Captain America has faded much quicker and would also need around $80 million to go top 10. However, it's international takings have dropped nearly 65% on each of the last two weekends and it's now only pulling in $500k so it's pretty much done. It might bring in another $5 million in total if it's lucky.
