Attendance yes I would they are still big. But not on performance over the last few years in the league discounting their FA Cup runs.

Obviously based on performances/results in the last few years and languishing in League One, they're not. But I'm not sure you can base a clubs size on the last 7 years of underachievement. Sheffield United are clearly bigger than the likes of Bournemouth and Swansea, but currently they're below both in the football pyramid.

When I used the label big club I meant looking at things over the whole course of footballing history in England - in that way they are a big club in comparison to the division they're in. In the same way as Bournemouth are a small club in the premiership and Burton in the championship!
They'll probably still find a way of bottling it somehow :P

I hope so! Have money on Bolton to win League 1 (after several seasons in a row of betting on Sheffield United), absolute kick in the teeth if this is the season they win it.

Hope Fleetwood sneak into the championship - spread the wealth!!

Though Rosler usually falls at the final hurdle - like with Brentford etc!

Really hoping Fleetwood can make the Championship. It will be an remarkable achievement.

That's true with a big club you would describe them as teams that have happened during the course of English football history. I think now yes I can't say teams aren't a big club just because they've had seven years of underachievement. Completely agree with what you say, Steve201 & OutstandingMixer.

Sheffield United end their 6 year exile in the third tier by winning promotion to the Championship again and manager Chris Wilder doing what Neil Warnock last did 20 years ago winning back to back promotions with two different sides after leading Northampton to promotion in League 2 last year!

Bolton lost, making Sheffield United champions.

Coventry are in the fourth tier for the first time in 58 years.

Can Sheffield United stop winning please. I don't want them to beat our 99 points tally from 2015

Still very much open for the second promotion spot between Bolton, Fleetwood, Scunthorpe and mathematically Bradford.

Crucial game in hand for Port Vale this week against Walsall. If they win, it goes to the wire in terms of the last relegation place. Walsall were beaten by Coventry (already relegated) at the weekend.
Gillingham are on the verge of sacking their manager, and they have already lost one at the beginning of this season, practically getting close to be regulated. This time last year we were so close to getting promoted, than in the last 5 to 6 games completely lost the plot.
