I think it will do well.

The original Bat Out Of Hell surprisingly only reached No.9 but is now one of the biggest selling albums of all time.

Bat Out Of Hell 2 went to No.1.

Bat Out Of Hell only reached number 9 on the UK album chart, but spent 474 weeks on the chart, still the second longest chart run ever on the UK album chart. (The longest ever at 477 weeks is Fleetwood Mac with Rumours).

With albums how high it reaches isn't neccessarily important compared to how long it sticks around. Look at Steve Brookstein. A number one album that fell very quickly.

How many times? Q magazine is the ONLY bad review his album got. I cannot remember the last time one of his albums got such great reviews. Please don't slam things unless you know the facts or have heard the albums iteself -_-

slamming things? i am not slamming the album only repeating what q magazine had stated. and as for the album it not out until the 23rd and i dont think i will bother to download an illegal copy on the strength of rudebox before then. boobs (here to go) maybe

however the lewis taylor album might be a better bet

Yes you are. Stating Q gave it 2 stars is one thing. But to call it an arsebout when you are basing it on 1 Mag's review is a different thing. I could'nt care less what you think of Rudebox or any other songs but you shoud'nt take Q mag's reviews seriously these days

Here are some quotes from Meat Loaf about IACBTMN..

(he's so bitter.)

'It's All Coming Back To Me' is Meat Loaf's first single to be released from the new album.

Canadian singer Celine Dion released the song in 1996, but Meat Loaf insists the music was originally written for him.

[....] and the first single It's All Coming Back to Me Now, a hit for Celine Dion in the mid-'90s.

Meat Loaf doesn't believe the song carries any baggage from the Celine Dion version.

"I don't think so," he says. "I always thought it was meant to be a duet and I can tell you right now how it got to her is through a greedy publisher.

"It was meant to be on Bat Out of Hell II but it was pulled because that album already had a big duet in the song I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)."

For the duet he's joined by Norway's Marion Raven, who enjoyed moderate success in the 1990s as part of all-girl duo M2M. [....]

Still, there will be a closure of sorts. Meat Loaf’s release of It’s All Coming Back to Me Now, the Steinman song memorably performed by Celine Dion in 1996, ends one of the more painful spats that have come to pass between the pair. Like so many of us, he was upset when he heard Dion’s version of the song — us because it featured Celine Dion and him “because we had deliberately left that song off Bat II so we could do it next time around. No offence to Celine, but when it finally comes out, I’ll feel like the definitive version is finally out there.â€

In fact, the album's first single is the Steinman-penned It's All Coming Back To Me, a duet with Norwegian singer Marion Raven.

Although it was originally a hit for Canadian singer Celine Dion in 1996, Meat Loaf insisted his version is more than a mere cover version.

"It was my song before she made it big," Meat Loaf said with a tinge of resentment. "It was originally going to be on Bat Out of Hell II in 1993 but we already had what we felt was the strongest hit in I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)."

So, when Meat Loaf passed on recording that Jim Steinman track, Dion got it. Still, Meat Loaf feels that the song was destined to be on Bat Out of Hell III.

"I believe that the version that Marion Raven and myself did on this album is the definitive version. It was always meant to be a duet, anyway."

Just in.. [from a German newspaper/interview]

Newspaper:

Your new single "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" has a very interesting story. It was supposed to be released 20 years ago.

Meat Loaf:

Jim Steinmann, my author, thought that it would be better to keep this song for the third and last part of our "Bat Of Hell" trilogy. Unfortunately he gave this song a couple of years later to this Canadian"

Newspaper:

This Canadian is called Céline Dion and had a worldwide hit with this song!

Meat Loaf:

Oh yes, Céline Dion. I forgot the name. When I first heard the song in 1986 I knew that I have to make a duet out of it. It was made to be a duet. And then Céline Dion released a solo version. Well, what can I say? I was furious when I first heard about it. Now I sing the song just the why I wanted to sing it in the past and the title fits perfectly because now it's all coming back to me.

Maybe it was always supposed to be a duet, but personally I find it annoying as such. Everytime he sings "But when you touch me like this" and that girl moans "TOUCH YOU LIKE THIS!" I cringe.

I really don't like the girl at all and I don't think she has the proper voice for the song. Now back on I'd Do Anything for Love, when "Ms. Loud" croons "WOULD YA HOSE ME DOWN WITH HOLY WATER" with her deep, powerful, stirring voice - that is a proper Meat Loaf duet.

"Bat Out of Hell III" features Meat Loaf's rendition of Steinman's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," which was a hit for Celine Dion a few years back. Meat Loaf, who duets with newcomer Marian Raven on his rendition of the piece, said he "basically ignored" Dion's version of the song because he believed it was his.

"And it had nothing to do with her, it just had to do with the fact that I felt that song was mine so I basically have ignored it," he said. "And the only reason I would even talk about it is because other people bring it up. To me, it doesn't exist. The only thing that exists is this duet. I know that sounds like a crazy person speaking and that's probably true."

I have to say this album is seriously amazing. I wasnt really sure when I was buying it wether I would enjoy it, but its stunning

Yes, Marion Raven isn't the best female co-singer Meat Loaf has had is she? She's nowhere near as good as Ellen Foley, Karla DeVito, Lorraine "Mrs. Loud" Crosby or Patti Russo.
