PLEASE. I don't even LIKE Lady Gaga that much - I just want a new number one for f***'s sake.

I wish one day I'll just be walking in NYC and see her...I'll probably pee my pants if that happens.

Colour me intrigued. I hope it isn't some Bieber by numbers style production as I'll be really disappointed if she doesn't put her own stamp all over that sound.

Screamed when I saw this today, had 5 notifications from her Instagram posts, so had a legitimate panic attack for about 10 seconds and then when I found out It cheered me up so much ...although I hope that isn't the cover, visually she's capable of creating something much more interesting and less Microsoft Powerpoint.

 

Music, especially pop music needs this woman back. So happy and hyped and hope we get a VMA performance and that the song and video is of amazing quality. If you can survive being a Gaga fan when she's not releasing music, you're a real survivor.

Also not sure we're getting a VMA performance as that's at the end of Aug but this is scheduled to be released in September :( unless she's planning to leak it early......

Lady Gaga Shares Details About Dance Floor Anthem 'Perfect Illusion'

Lady Gaga's brand new single "Perfect Illusion" is a dance floor anthem about a troubled relationship, iHeartRadio reports exclusively. Mother Monster gave the radio station the first listen to her upcoming single and explained the inspiration behind the track during her appearance at iHeartRadio HQ in New York City on Wednesday.

 

"The song is about modern ecstasy. We found our sweet, simple, ragey way of saying it," Gaga said of the anthem she co-produced with Mark Ronson and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker. "I get this sick adrenaline rush every time I hear it."

 

iHeart also took to their Twitter account to answer fans' questions about the new track and if their words are anything to go by, we're about to hear one of Gaga's best songs ever. "We were humming it all day," the station tweeted. "We only got to hear it once, but it was really, really good. Probably new favourite lead single, but we still love all of those too."

 

"I don't think there's a comparison that would make sense," a writer for iHeart Radio added when asked if "Perfect Illusion" reminded them of any other Gaga song. "It's in its own lane, but still feels right at home."

There's no way she'll perform a song at the VMAs that isn't out for weeks later. Artists just don't do that (especially in the US).

 

Maybe they'll air some kind of song/video preview there though?
