We will see. That's definitely a best case scenario. I agree 150k in sales is more of a reality. Maybe 175k with streaming.

But, this seems like pretty aggressive promo plan. Two of the biggest promo slots possible and probably a couple more appearances on top of that. I mean she did 107k with Britney Jean without a single promo performance!

I think about 120k pure sales.
yeah 120k pure sales defintiley, everything above is extraa

I'm not expecting huge things with the way sales have declined, but I'd be extremely happy with anything above 100k, and even happier if it beat Britney Jean's opener. I'm pretty sure it'll be #3 behind Babs and Florida Georgia Line

Has FGL's new single been as successful as the opener for their last album? I know their last album debuted with 197k in 2014 and that was with the lead single being a huge #1 for them on the country charts? I think they will be competition, but beating them is not out of the question with the VMA's and carpool, TBH. 197k was also coming off their huge debut. I think their numbers will be very close to Britney's, ranging between 125k - 175k.

Barbara will probably do really well though, but this release isn't nearly as hyped as her last...

Yeah, FGL's lead single has done reasonably well, it peaked at #14 on Billboard which is higher than Make Me, and is high on iTunes still.

I still think we will be pleasantly surprised by the numbers she will pull in. I mean the VMA's is a huge f***ing deal. The problem with 'Britney Jean' is that it was barely even known by the general public, more people were talking about her starting in Vegas instead of a new album being released. That on top of the auto grats and her aggressive promo schedule the week 'Glory' comes out. I'd be very surprised if she doesn't pull 125k - 150k in pure sales.

Ps - I am distantly related to the lead singer of FGL :o

I just feel like Make Me isn't quite a big enough hit to pull in huge numbers. It's only been a very minor hit so far. I'm sure it'll have some sort of brief re-birth album release week.

I went with : 55k-75k sales / 85k-105k SPS

Sales are disastrous, she doesn't have a hit whatsoever, but then she does have great promo, so I think 75k in sales and 95k-105k in streaming seems right.

You know actually, I would "up" my prediction to whatever is above my previous choice...So basically : 75k-95k sales / 105k-125k SPS

I don't know.

I'm conflicted.

Eek. 2nd week Frank Ocean is her biggest competition it seems! Lets hope and pray that the VMAs and Carpool do enough for her to overhaul him for a week!!

She wasn't going to be #1 in the US anyway, sadly

Posted this in the main album thread, but, thought I'd post it here as well!

First week predictions are in from the insiders at pop justice.

They are predicting 110k (pure sales) based off of pre order numbers. Hoping VMA's and carpool can ramp that up to between 125 - 150k!

That is already a good deal...110k based on just preorders is fantastic...with VMA and Carpool hopefully for 135k-140k pure sales and 175k-180k SPS...which is going to be a very tight race between Barbra, Florida and Brit
Yeah! It's going to be a tight race between the top 3! We can take this though if the VMA's SLAYS.
If the VMAs performance is HUGE and the Carpool goes viral like it did for Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Coldplay and Adele, she could easily do up to 175k. I don't want to get my hopes up.
