So, who did you choose then?

I have to go with Gangsta's Paradise, the runners up being Think Twice, Dreamer, and Cotton Eye Joe.

Pre 1994 I could only find a handful of songs I actually liked and KNEW. 1994 onwards is just amazing I think right until 2002 which was an awful year bar a few songs 2003 was great again though some strange acts hitting the top you never thought would like Evanescence, Blu Cuntrell, Black Eyed Peas, Fatman Scoop etc. 2004 was dire for sales but had some good songs and 2005/2006 haven't been that bad either.
this year has been mixed for me,i love the scisoor sisters for example but hate justin timberlake song,2004 was great year overall i thought music wise
Saleswise 2004 would've diedd a long slow painful death if it hadn't been for Bland Aid 20. I often think yeh how songs like 'These Words' which sold criminally average amounts of like 197,000 would've have done better if dloads were included back then :(
