Good evening Buzzjack!!

 

I am delighted to announce that nearly all the AF mods have #ComeTogether to bring you the Artist Forum Song Contest! :cheer: Our first contest is happening very soon and the best part of it is YOU get to decide what each forum's entry will be! The mods of each participating AF will be holding national finals in each of their forums over the next month before we all meet up in the Girls Aloud forum for the grand final! We've also decided to select a theme for the contest and that theme is... Should've been a single! (This will be started in a NEW thread soon!)

 

I'll keep this thread updated with which forums are currently holding their national finals but in the mean time, here is a list of the AFs currently confirmed to be taking part!

I'm thinking something from Salute for sure. I don't think there's any remaining album tracks remaining on Get Weird or DNA.

 

I'd go for Nothing Feels Like You or Competition. I wouldn't go for anything too ballady.

I would say Lightning as well!

Nothing Feels Like You or A Different Beat, both are probably my favourite tracks on Salute along with Move and neither were singles. I thought the former was nearly guaranteed to be one and the latter is just a massive anthem, and sounded amazing when used on Pitch Perfect!

I love Going Nowhere but it must be Nothing Feels Like You to me. Forever bitter about Word Up!.

I think Towers is one of the best songs on Salute, but if yall say ballads are a bad choice.. i don't know. Lightning is ok, but the beat drop keeps me from loving it.

Between NFLY and Competition I like Competition better

Yeah I like Lightning but there's no way it should have been a single. It came alive on tour and is enjoyable but I think would get eaten up in this comp.

Stereo Soldiers, Nothing Feels Like You, These Four Walls, Towers and Weird People would all be among my choices!

LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME or TOWERS

I'd opt for Towers or NFLY personally. They should've replaced Little Me and Word Up for sure.

I will forever be bitter that Nothing Feels Like You was never a single but Word Up was

Towers, These Four Walls or Competition. (I don't even rate Salute that much yet somehow I list these!)
