The Lucky video is amazing. Tells such a beautiful story. It's not something that would work these days, but it's a brilliant time capsule.

Both should be higher, especially "Lucky". Iconic video!

I'm obsessed with Lucky in every form. But, I think it's a brilliant placing and the top ten so far is quite spot on! :o

It is a good placing though I'd put it a bit higher. I think its the perfect video for a slow/midtempo song. A lot of her uptempo tracks have the advantage cause they have the choreo that we all love to watch, so its harder for a slower song to deliver a memorable video that we all adore. I think Lucky manages to do exactly that.

This was one of my 11s! Hot off VMA-Kiss gate, when the we found out Madonna was featuring on a Britney single, it was exciting! I mean who else can boast a Madonna feature? The song itself is to this day still well remembered but wasn't quite as big a hit as people hoped, even though I personally love it. One thing that is iconic, however is its video. The choreo, outfits and chemistry are electric and it has such re-watchability value. I love in particular, when the song was covered in Glee, how Santana and Brittany recanted the video so effortlessly. Britney in her peak. Peakney.

Definitely agree with that completely!

Also, so glad MATM is this high up! It usually gets lost in all her brilliant video moments. My favorite choreography after 'Slave'. Love how dark and energetic the set is as well. It translates the song perfectly.

'Lucky' is such a fantastic video. Tells the story of the song perfectly and it's still horrowing how much her life resembles it! Gets me EVERY TIME! </3

'Me Against The Music' is fantastic too! The choreography is flawless, especially during the bridge and the middle 8 in the glow in the dark stuff! Both thoroughly deserving of their positions!

MATM - flawless. I love the choreo, and I love her look in it too. Still my favorite single from that album tbh, super underrated.

I prefer Toxic & Everytime but MATM is my third favorite from the album. It's so ahead of its time and I'd rate all 3 11/10 moments (along with BOM)

BOM is my fav from the album, with THO 2nd. But out of the singles MATM just clicked with me the most - I also love that beat. Gives me some Destiny's Child vibe

Working on 'Womanizer' with Joseph was a lot of fun. [...]He makes sure that he gets the types of shots that go with the music. It's not like a movie, it's more like a musical. You know, if I say 'on the hi-hat here or on the drumbeat here, I want my leg to be in the air.' And it's that detail, and it does make a difference, and that's what he can do. It's very rare to find people that still know how to do that.

—Spears about working with Joseph Kahn.

The music video was filmed on September 24 and 25, 2008 in Los Angeles, directed by Joseph Kahn, who previously worked with Spears for the music videos of "Stronger" and "Toxic".

According to Kahn, Spears pitched him her original concept, which included all the main elements used in the final version. Spears thought of the video as a sequel to "Toxic", as seen in her documentary Britney: For the Record, whereas Kahn approached it as "a 2008 answer" to the previous clip. He added that, "'Toxic' was a crystallization of her career at that time, There are elements and moments of that I felt could [have been] improved. ['Womanizer'] is a bit more fashion-forward". About how the concept of the video related to their previous work, Kahn commented that "It's just a great girl fantasy. There are things she's really good at, like having a really natural knack for knowing what girls want. It's a much more mature sound and much more mature lyrics, and she always has the greatest ideas. She's hyper-aware of pop culture".

The costumes and looks for each of the different women were chosen by Spears and Kahn. The scenes in the sauna were suggested by Kahn, as a response to the attacks Spears received over the years about her weight. He stated, "I knew that the whole world would be watching, so I wanted something in there that stated, 'This is Britney, this is why you should respect her'". The set was cleared for two hours, leaving her and Kahn alone shooting the sequence. Kahn also decided to end the video with an image of Spears smiling, because "We just needed to tell everybody she's OK".

A censored version of the music video premiered on October 10, 2008 on ABC's 20/20 at the end of their show. The uncensored version premiered on MTV the same night.

Whole top 7 with an average above 9!
I think Womanizer is an amazing video - it's the last time I can really remember a video having such a huge impact over here in the UK. This would definitely have been my 10-7 if not necessarily in that exact order. The videos left to come are all so amazing it's really hard to choose between them.

Look up "iconic" in the dictionary and this is one of the videos you'll see. There's nothing particularly unique in the video, but it some how managed to stand out so much. Mainly due to Britney's evolution from girl next door to sexy young woman. The choreo is amazing, with Britney belly dancing her way around the set. The the visual is slick and the warm, golden colours used were always very memorable to me. The Slave video is like an sweaty pre-orgy and we were all here for it. Sadly it missed out on a top 5 placing due to Maurice's -1.

she's the epitome of sex appeal in that vid. ur so right there's nothing really special about it, but it somehow it's been ingrained into the publics conscious.

Womanizer, I think it was a good comeback video cause people kept saying how out of shape she was during the Blackout era, then she returned looking great. I dont think its top10 material though.

Slave on the other hand, how is this not top3? Heck even though its not my fav I would be thrilled to see it at #1. Sex kitten Britney is the best Britney.
