Posted August 24, 20168 yr Katy's album Teenage Dream was released on this day in 2010! I loved this album, but I still prefer one of the boys. I remember being amazed about the booklet smelling like cotton candy, I wonder if it still does, I'll have to dig it out and have a sniff :lol: anyway, I made a post on my blog about it with some quick facts if anyone is interested :)
August 24, 20168 yr 6 years, wow :o I can't claim to have been a Katy fan all that time but this is such a great album, and one of the biggest pop albums of our time! The One That Got Away remains my favourite Katy song too :heart: Great blog post too, Laura! :D
August 24, 20168 yr I did like Hot N Cold, Waking Up in Vegas and Thinking of You at the time but I really started to take notice after California Gurls and the excellent streak of singles that followed. The title track is still one of my favourite all time tracks and I'd argue this is probably the best 'pop' album that I own. Edited August 26, 20168 yr by Josh.
August 25, 20168 yr One of the strongest, most consistent pop albums of all time for me. 6 years on I think I can confidently say that now.
August 26, 20168 yr the booklet actually smelt like candy floss?? wattt IT DOES! Mine still has a vague whiff. ----- I think I'm safe in saying 6 years down the line, I'm not jumping on any bandwagon too quickly, that this album is my favourite album of all time :wub: Wall to wall amazing.
August 26, 20168 yr Although it is only my second favourite Katy album, it's still a fantastic piece of pop work and the complete confectionery edition with Wide Awake on too is just as fantastic :wub:
