I think that it will sell 400k in its first wk - wait and see

There's more of a buzz about this album than any of his previous albums plus there is nearly 17 tracks on it. Its number one on pre-orders everywhere and thats before its even physically released into the shops

190k first day I would imagine

Rudebox was a successful single and not a flop as critics described it - its still the second best selling single in Europe and reached the same chart position as Feel, Angels and Come Undone. In fact Rob has now had eight number 4 songs

This album will be massive

I think this will easily be his lowest selling album yet, but I respect him a hell of a lot more for branching out and trying new things.

Probably about 250k first week sales though, he has a massive fanbase.

Also Amazing was No.1 and charted at no.4 with disappointing sales
both NME and Mojo both praised the album.

So has the fella who does the chart rundown for Hit40 UK. He couldn't speak highly enough of it. Said he thought it would be Robbie's best album yet.

Looking forward to it.

How was it #1 if it charted at #4

Yep, it's getting great reviews minus Q. Also pop justice say it's his best yet http://www.popjustice.com/ :yahoo:

in pre-orders

Yes, but that was only on Amazon if i remember right. His album is #2 on Amazon but #1 on nearly every other site i've come accross ^_^

i think it will get to numbe r1 but first week sales will be around 200,000 copies ,his last few singles havnt done near as well as previous singles
i'd guess around 200k in first week sales

I doubt it... People might think the whole album is like Rudebox...

on a quality scale, it is. suppose to be c**p. (apart from mojo who gave it an alright mark, seems to be getting not v good reviews. q 2 stars.)

Popjustice has just posted a review:

Robbie's 'Rudebox' is the best thing he has ever ever done. (We mean the album, not the single. Obviously.) It's funny and sad and danceable and sitdownable and just generally VERY GOOD INDEED.

maybe the single was the best thing robbie has ever done, thats the robbie from jamaican reggaekings sly and robbie

You are basing the quality of the album on 1 Mag's review? Q should not be taken seriously as far as reviews go these days. EVERY review i have read apart from Q have been great. Mojo gave it 4 stars, NME said it was great on their site a few weeks back as well. And various other sites have said it's his best yet. Even Vicky Newton from the Sun said it was brilliant and that can only be a good thing

The album will huge due to Robbie's fanbase, first week sales of around 250k.

I'm not a Robbie fan though I have liked some of his earlier material. Just seen the new vid on tv & after hearing a lot of good reports about this single I was left disappointed. It just doesn't sound anything like Robbie to me.

There's probably better tracks on the album but his first two singles have left me cold.

It was easily sell 250k+ in its first week, and I will be buying one of them! Lovelight is a superb track.

You should'nt judge a song on a first listen IMO. I really disliked Lovelight first but it grew on me and it is now one of my all time favourite Robbie songs.

He, unlike the vast majority of today's pop starts is taking a huge risk and trying something totally different. Q is the only bad review, Uncut Mag also said it was his best album of his carear. I can't remember any of his albums get such good reviews tbh.

I agree completelly ^_^

Take your point. Perhaps it will grow on me.
