Quite a few people seem to be wanting to watch the results just for them, so I'd say this whole "premiering on X Factor" thing might be a good thing after all! I'm allowed to change this opinion if it turns out that they stall at like #31 or something on iTunes soon after xxxxxx

I feel like this is the reason, I don't see an advantage for Little Mix as it would have still be a first live performance and new to most of the public.

It probably is about ratings for Simon but I wouldn't say it's to "salvage" them, they're actually up from last year!

Big night tonight. Really, REALLY excited and to finally get the song!!

The last time I was this excited for something LM related was their Wembley Arena show and that was everything I expected and more

The release strategy is obviously being done to boost X factor the show but it's really not going to spell a compete disaster for this single release like some I've seen are making out :lol: if anything it will make more people tune in to the show tonight and will make all eyes on the PERFORMANCE which will no doubt get everyone excited for this era.

 

A standard release on Friday and performance on Sunday has been done before, this is a much more exciting release for me at least because I have no idea what to expect from the single or performance! My buzz is HUGE and it wouldn't have been this big if I had heard the single loads before tonight.

 

In short, fans freaking out about the release strategy need to CALM. If the single is big it will be so whether released on Friday, Sunday, next Tuesday. You need to view the scenario from the eyes of someone who doesn't track chart movements meticulously everyday - they are getting a HUGE premiere for a single and that doesn't happen often nowadays with songs just released instantly online at any time ;o

Really can't wait to hear this tonight.

AND it's amazing.

It's okay, I'm actually a rather bit disappointed from it as it's not much progression from 'Get Weird'. Not that it's a bad thing because the singles from 'Get Weird' were incredible but it sounds like something that Glee would have released.

 

I know it will grow on me but I'm not feeling that INSTANT LOVE like I did for 'Black Magic'.
