#1 in today's update by 630 copies, With closing the 5k gap from yesterday I think they will be a few thousand ahead of James tomorrow in the official charts. Pretty amazing for them after losing a few days of sales and data!

 

Lets see how long it stay's #1 now still as over a 60% lead on iTunes and they have stand up to cancer tomorrow and video dropping should keep a decent lead.

That's absolutely amazing. In theory everything was against them. 'Get Weird' was huge, but not as big as you'd think on streaming, it missed out on 2.5 of the biggest days for sales, it premiered on XF whose ratings (although up on last year) aren't what they used to be and we've seen acts not benefit too much in the past... I think it's just put everything into perspective as to how big their brand is, now. It's phenomenal and couldn't happen to a nicer group of girls.

 

Also, the first female only act at UK #1 of 2016! Gahhhh! They deserve it so much.

So if they do reach #1, what will be it's achievements?

• 3rd song to debut at #1 this year (others Pillowtalk and Cold Water)

• 1st all female act to reach #1 this year

• First song to debut at #1 after missing days of sales/stream since Eminem's The Monster.

I'm really pleased for them, I did think with missing a couple of days and streaming maybe hampering them that the best they'd get is a top 5 debut. :o Well done.

Can't seem to find the x factor performance no more, I think the x factor youtube as made it private, Nearly had 5 million views too. I guess there doing it for the official music video...

They did announce midnight on their official Facebook page though, but we will see.
