Wasn't overly keen on it at first but I am absolutely loving it! Miles above Applause. Hopefully she can get number one officially.

Didn't expect Post Malone to start so strongly (although that's down to the Bieber feature I imagine).

Lady GaGa still desperate I see judging by the heavy marketing and promotion this admittedly different sounding song is receiving.

I guess Twin Atlantic, Bastille, Travis Scott, Sia, Kings Of Leon and OneRepublic are all desperate, they are also heavily promoted on the front page of iTunes and Apple Music :heehee:

Edit: oh and The Beatles too

Mess. God forbid an artist would want to market and promote their material.

Does that logic apply to everyone who has banners on the streaming/download sites, i.e every major artist IN THE WORLD?

1. Lady Gaga - Perfect Illusion

Gaga is number one

It was posted already 50 minutes ago

To be fair to Gaga, she's been away for 3 years and this is truly make or break for her. They need to pull out all the stops and make sure they get every aspect of this right.

I don't see how that makes her desperate, it's just raising awareness. I hate when people talk like promotion is a bad thing. If she was truly desperate, it would be 59p from the get go or something :P

Holy shit that Céline Dion song is gorgeous  please do something.

 80. Tove Lo - Cool Girl

Would I be too optimistic to say this could reach a new peak this week? It's doing well on Spotify and I can see it going top 50 on iTunes within a couple of days

Who is buying James Arthur, UKIP supporters? (His homophobic comments)

Maybe people who like the song? That was nearly three years ago. I'm not defending him but it's in the past now.

Surprised at James Arthur nearly being top 20 - I think if it wasn't for his Twitter meltdown he would've broken the whole make XF winner curse thing.

Yes how dare Lady Gaga and her marketing team actually want her to be a success this era

Not to mention recording a song with immensely homophobic lyrics in it.

Lady Gaga will get sales #1 but not too sure about official #1. Depends on how well the song does on streaming
