I guess many members won't know about the Yul Brynner movie of the same name which was released in 1973, ask your parents.

JJ Abrams and his team has turned it into a TV series scheduled to release on Sky Atlantic from 4 October. I'm hoping it does the business as judging by the trailers it looks good and more updated, I truly love the original movie.

Watched the pilot yesterday, it was awesome! Not sure how they make this into series, but fingers crossed for something great.

The pilot episode was amazing, I think I just found my favourite brand new show of the year, pretty heavy in some parts but it works for me as it updates the Westworld series and the original concept is played about in the background, and Ed Harris is brilliant in it, for me he steals the whole show, certainly sticking with it, Also the casting is pretty much solid. Hopefully a second season is in the works.

It's a bit of a slow burn but I'm excited to see how it rolls out over 10 episodes. Just finished Stranger Things so this couldn't be more perfectly timed.

decent enough but padded a bit I thought. good cast.

watch the movie after watching the series and compare...

The opening titles for this are utterly beautiful, I was totally captivated <3

Very good pilot overall, was slightly confusing and took a while to really get what was happening, but a very interesting concept, a bit like a Western version of Humans, and definite potential to be as good as Stranger Things or maybe even Game of Thrones if it lasts.

Really enjoyed this, the visuals are amazing! There's a great cast and I think there will be a huge mythology park.

Speaking of which, has anyone else read the main theory going round so far!? I'm inclined to believe it's true. It's totally believable

There are TWO timelines in the show. The character played by Jimi Simpson introduced in the 2nd episode is actually the Man in Black 30 years later.

I am totally sold that it's true!

Loving this, but in all honesty I really don't get what the f*** is happening haha!

It's definitely gonna be one of those shows that actually benefits from being watched numerous times!

It is a bit hard to follow, but I'm loving it, I've actually been watching it in chunks, 2 at a time. I might have to spend a couple of days re watching it when the series finishes, and have a Westworld TV marathon.
Getting there! That episode was absolutely brilliant. The best one yet, imo.
I thought it was going to be tough to top episode 6, but WOW. As soon as

he said 'What door' the penny dropped

. I wonder if

that new host Ford is making is a replacement for her?

Episode 7 was brilliant with a few answers after Episode 6 which was flawless, and I think I know where its going at the end of the series. I'm also waiting for the timeline to drop, as said before.

this is so good. I'm particularly stunned by Thandie Newton - I've never been taken with her in anything before but she is hitting it out of the park here, making complete sense of an incredibly complex character and making every line reading and movement delectable.

buzzing to see Tessa Thompson on board too.
