Most certainly thought Ariana Grande, 23, slayed with her impression of the singer on Saturday Night Live, given that she has a powerhouse voice of her own. However, the “Make Me” pop star doesn’t seem to agree. In a recent interview with London’s KIIS FM radio, Britney was questioned about celebrities who have tried to mimic her iconic sound. When asked if Ariana did her justice, she said, “I’ve heard better.” Even though it seemed like Britney was overtly shading Ariana, she did have many other kind words to say. After hearing Ariana’s version of “Baby One More Time” during the March 2016 episode of SNL, she replied, “That’s funny. That’s really funny. Wow. She’s good very good. I love her voice, it’s very smooth. Her [real] voice.” Ari’s definitely pulled out all the stops for the skit, even adding a few dance moves! Wearing a school girl inspired ensemble, glasses and her hair up in a ponytail, she totally embodied Britney’s 1998 style. Ariana also imitated Celine Dion, singing her sultry hit “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now,” in addition to Whitney Houston‘s “I Will Always Love You” and Rihanna‘s “Work.” Fast forward to now, both Britney and Ariana continue to slay the game in the music industry. Both ladies recently headlined the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 24, putting on jaw-dropping performances at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Keep up the great work (bitch)!
September 30, 20168 yr I can see where Britney's coming from with this - Ariana's was good but we also heard Christina Aguilera's attempt and that was legit SPOT ON. Really hope tabloids don't market this as a feud.

September 30, 20168 yr I actually preferred Ariana's impression over Christina's tbh. But I do feel that when people try to mimic Britney, they often go TOO low! The only person to get it spot on is Myah Marie :basil:
