Why doesn't anyone watch this?

It's a thrilling sport.

It is good, other half watches it just as much as F1. The speed those cars can actually reach despite being all electric is rather impressive.

Buemi lucky to escape any sanctions it appears following an unsafe pit release.

Did anyone see his rant at Da Costa, Frijins and Art? He mistook Da Costa for Frijins.

Dramatic race.

Finale tomorrow live on Spike not Channel 5 who are showing.... Dirty Dancing.

OK. This isn't me being an arse but I genuinely would like someone to tell me why this is worth watching.

Firstly some context -

I watch F1 - It has has the top 6 drivers in the world and is the pinnacle of motor racing technology.

I watch Indycar - It is the 2nd tier of open wheel racing and is (by far) more exciting and competitive than F1 and has the most varied circuit types of any series worth talking about.

By the time I have spent my rare precious free sundays keeping up with them why should I watch Formula E?

On the face of it I see a bunch of drivers, not cut out to be back markers in F1, not good enough for the Indy circuit and son to be surpassed by the latest Formula Ford star. After the intriguing prospect of the technology is the racing actually any good?

There can be quite a few overtakes and some good drama. The field is fairly even at the moment too

However the FIA are up to their usual tricks and seem determined to make Di Grassi champion this year

Renault e.dams go 3 for 3 in the Constructors championship but the FIA finally get the Di Grassi World Champ they've been after.
