5 years on :o Where has the time gone, seriously. Did ANYONE expect this to do as well as it did off the back off Perfect Illusion? It's one of her highest streamed songs and the way it smashed into the top 5 on Billboard after the Superbowl :cheeseblock: :clap:

it's completely amazing and one of her signature songs these days. She also worked so hard to sell the song to audience and I think it kind of saved the era in the end? One of my absolute faves!

I love million reasons and one of my absolute faves from lady gaga.

 

The comments are heartbreaking at times. This and I'll Never Love Again are truly her most effective ballads :heart:

I hardly ever return to the music video the song grew on me so much over time though! Now it's a beautiful ballad and a key part of her journey to redeeming her chart success after a few quieter moments on the charts!

The video is perhaps in her bottom 5. It does, however, give us the trademark and most distinctive Joanne look.

 

Her live performances of the song are so good, especially the Royal Variety one.

Yes, Gaga was torn between A-YO and MR, but as MR performed better with the audience, she chose the latter to work on, like Venus and DWUW in 2013.

Gaga promote this a lot in the UK, bizarre that it didn't take off. Maybe it's just "too country".

 

One of her best singles and I love how many performances there are to watch! A true gem. Although shame about the video, truly awful for her standards.

Love that! It's really the little engine that could - went against all odds and became a bonafide hit in the US. I thank it a lot for getting support back to her from radios/streaming after Perfect Illusion killed a lot of it off!

I just listened as part of the album because i'm doing the Joanne rate and it's such a restrained beauty. A centrepiece for the album in a way! :heart: Happy 5 years of not stressing that she was going to choose A-Yo over it as 2nd single :rofl:
