Matt is a clear winner, his performance was incredible and wowzers he is HOT!

Is Freddy gay? He seems very gay-acting but hasn't said it outright afaik.

It is not racist to not vote for Saara. I am not racist but it is harder to connect to a non-British act in this sort of platform. I think her voice is INCREDIBLE but it is just harder to connect.

I am not thrilled for Motown week, I wanted Louis Loves. Also, is the wheel spinning thing just fixed anyway?

Like I'm pretty sure Fright Night will be in the closest weekend to Halloween.

Classic.

No it isn't racist to not vote for her if you can justify your dislike or disconnect with something other than "she isn't British". I know that some people don't like big voices like hers, they prefer softer subtle voices, and that would be fine as a reason why you're not a huge fan of Sarah but if people really can't come up with a reason that isn't "she's not British" it's a tad pathetic. You wouldn't say "she's harder to connnect with because she's a woman " "he's harder to connect with because he's black", so why is "she's Finnish why is she here!!1!' even being said :drama:

Also I hate how so many people are hung up on Freddy's sexuality. It's got nothing to do with anything and it's not like he has to shout from the rooftops, it has nothing to do with a singing competition. Funnily enough it's mostly gays on twitter and say Digital spy etc who I see being horrendously judgemental about it...

wowzers he is HOT!

He clicked with me yesterday, can't get enough of him now

Why does it matter if Freddy is gay or not? Why is it hard to connect purely because she isn't British?

Get your head checked Hun x

It's just interesting to know

And I actually like her voice and her music but the fact she isn't British and can come off as cold and a bit full of herself sometimes doesn't help.

Also when she had to do a second song and sang in French really didn't help people to connect.

And to the people above it is not racist, it is evolutionary psychology.

The fact she isn't British can come across as cold and full of herself?! what a load of bullshit!!! Sorry your low key racist opinion has been deemed as trash.

Evolutionary psychology?! Jesus Christ. Whatever you need to say to justify yourself babes.

I do think Saara has been edited quite badly at times, particularly at the 6 chair challenge and I see why some people are holding this (incorrect) view that she's perhaps a bit diva-ish. When she isn't being edited badly though, as you can see in this interview from yesterday, she is absolutely lovely and adorable:

No, the fact she can come across as cold and full of herself is separate from her nationality and also a plausible reason for her low ranking.

Also, her age is against her. We have only have one female over win the show, most are out in the first few weeks.

I think her renditions of Let It Go and Alive were really good.

I'm just keeping it real, people seem to be scared of having honest discussions these days

Also, why weren't Bratavio on the daytime TV on Monday? I am guessing they either got really drunk or Sunday or just refused to go on due to diva-ish attitudes.

Saara was bottom 2 because she's not British, imo. The public is xenophobic when it comes to a competition like this because they'd rather support home grown talent. That's how I see it anyway.
I don't think it's xenophobia in terms of the general public, like Ryan said I don't think she's had the best edit so people haven't warmed to her too much, especially as her personality comes off as quite quirky which the public generally don't like on these kinda shows (definitely not my personal opinion though, I think she's fantastic). "She's not British" isn't a reason to not connect with her though, that can't be used against her and I'm quite disappointed to see it has been in this thread.
I don't agree with it being a reason, but I think we over estimate some of the public. Personally I can't warm to her because I find her too theatrical, nothing to do with her nationality. I can't deny she's an incredible singer though.
i may have had a naughty dream about one of the contestants.

Honey G?

I wasn't going to bring it up but since somebody asked, yeah, Freddy's gay. A friend of mine used to be friends with him - which makes it a bit awkward that he changed the lyrics in Killing Me Softly
I expect the producers are trying to make him some heartthrob for the girls, which is a huge shame really considering we've not had a young male soloist who's openly gay at the time and isn't a novelty act I believe.... :drama: (Jaymi Hensley's the only one really and he was part of Union J)

It's always the case, same with Big Brother. I've lost count of the amount of times wine mums with a poppy or their child as their profile picture have attacked me for wanting an American to win for example :drama: But I'm not going to support someone crap like say Emily just because she happens to be British.

Marcus Collins?

Marcus Collins?

I couldn't remember if he was openly gay or not at the time of the show but I guess there's him! Even so, that was 5 years ago now :drama:

I don't think Marcus was out during the show, I only found out he was gay the year after.
