I remember a time when MOS' The Annual only included dance songs. What are they doing putting all these urban and pop songs on it?

That means these are dead certain to appear on NOW 98 unless with Charlie Puth, they choose his new song instead of “Attention”. I’m surprised Cardi B and Taylor Swift aren’t on there considering they both hit #1 in the US and the latter usually appears on the US series

Yeah, Taylor usually appears on the later NOW. Although, Shake It Off wasn't on a US NOW. I think she'll make NOW 65 though.

They could have done with Faith Hill, Eddie Rabbitt and Megan McKenna on there. No surprise Taylor Swift not being on there seeing as they think she doesn't want her music on there because of when she removed her music from Spotify.

NOW 80s Party is being released on the same day as NOW Country. I was expecting them to release the former a week later. This means that we could get the NOW 80s Party tracklist next week seeing as we will be getting the NOW 98 tracklist in a fortnight

Faith Hill also has copyright issues. I remember being disappointed when There You'll Be wasn't on NOW 68 (When it reached a new peak thanks to X Factor). Could do with a bit of Dixie Chicks as well.

I never had her down as someone who doesn’t allow their music onto compilations. I remember she was appearing on the HITS series in the late 90s

Was There You'll Be on the same record label as her other material? Seeing as it was from Pearl Harbor.

I think they should probably have been able to get hold of This Kiss, which was a sizeable enough hit. Lonestar's Amazed is a surprising omission seeing as it's on Now 2000. On the whole it is a good tracklisting though, good to see double Carrie <3

I think it was easier to get Faith Hill on those compilations because WMTV were 1/3 of the label team behind the HITS series. And her label was Warner Music back in the day.

The Pearl Harbour Soundtrack was released via Warner Brothers so it's under the same label as her. I have noticed a lot Country stars do seem to own more of their material than popstars do.

Sam Hunt getting that promo for 'Body Like A Back Road' though *.*

I’ve noticed that as well. The only time they weren’t always CD 1 Track 1 was on the main NOW series. Tracklist is quite decent except for the inclusion of “Pop Muzik” which was released in 1979, therefore making it a 70s song. As for “Love Shack” it’s hard to decide whether it’s an 80s song or a 90s song as it got released everywhere in 1989 but got released in the UK in 1990

When are we getting the tracklist for Now 98?

3rd November but we could get it on the Wednesday if we’re lucky like we did with 95-97
