From 128-2 to 211 all out for England in their Champions Trophy semi-final against Pakistan.

Have they blown it?

An good start from Pakistan. Hope they get 350 as it would be an exciting chase.

Less than that, I think India could still do it.

India bowled out for 158

And fantastic win for Pakistan, they've been fantastic in the last two games!

Ireland and Afghanistan have been made the 11th and 12th Test-playing nations. I'm not sure where Afghanistan will be playing but Ireland's arrival means England will be playing the occasional away Test match in the summer.
Henry Blofeld will retire from TMS in September after 45 years in the commentary box. He might have made a few mistakes in the last few years but he will be much missed. Only Aggers remains from the classic line-up but he is still young enough to be there for some time to come.

That depends on how old you are. Some people would say the classic line-up included the likes of John Arlott and Brian Johnson. Plus, of course, Bill Frindall with his stats in the pre-computer age.

It's great news that Afghanistan and Ireland have been allowed to become a Test playing nations which is great for the game.

Yes,the classic line up I was referring to would be Brian Johnston,Henry Blofeld,Jonathan Agnew,Christopher Martin-Jenkins and Bill Frindall. I know John Arlott set the example that others followed and I do remember him from my younger days but by the time I became interested in cricket,he had gone.

Mark Stoneman giving the best reply to the Selectors for omitting him by reaching a 100 in the One-Day Cup Final

50 overs cricket , I know, but is still a big occasion performance.

I hope Luke Fletcher will be OK after being hit on the head by the ball in the T20 match shown on Sky this evening. He was the bowler so he had no helmet. The batsman hit the ball straight at him. He was able to walk off the field and was taken to hospital. The players went off for half an hour but decided to play on. He's posted a thumbs up photo on twitter so hopefully will be alright.
Phew. I just watched Middlesex v Surrey in the T20 Blast. I am exhausted after that, never mind the guys actually playing.

We essentially need 3 new batsmen & to drop a spinner. Move Stokes to 7 as he's too unreliable at 6 following our defeat against South Africa.

My team when everyone fit

Cook

Stoneman

Westley

Root

Livingstone

Bairstow

Stokes

Woakes

Moeen

Broad

Anderson

However, I fully expect the next test team to be 🙄

Cook

Jennings

Stoneman

Root

Bairstow

Stokes

Moeen

Rashid

Broad

Anderson

Ball

England have tried several opening batsmen to partner Cook since Strauss retired. They have all come in with lots of runs at county level but none of them have been convincing at Test level. They might as well give Stoneman a go now.

I'd like to see Jack Leach given a chance as the spin bowler.

Yes,it was a close finish with Middlesex almost messing it up. I'm a Middx fan and they've had several tense finishes in the last few weeks, the T20 against Glos and the 4 day matches against Essex and Warwickshire.

Just watched Durham v Leicester in tonight's T20. Disappointed for Durham as they were in a good position towards the end of the 1st innings.

Surrey against Middlesex comes round again, this time from the Oval. Ready for it King Rollo?

Great achievement, their first international title since 2009 and the 4th time they've won it.

Shame to see cricket on the front pages for the wrong reasons following what's happened with Ben Stokes.
