So Conor did manage to get that #1 after all. Drumsound & Bassline Smith receive their first #1 (while Conor gets his 5th) with "Catch Me Here". By the skin of their teeth. It was a close fight between them and Bruno, who ultimately settled for #2 with "24k Magic". Ariana/Nicki and DJ Snake/Bieber also switch places with "Side To Side" at #3 and "Let Me Love You" at #4. The Chainsmokers round out the top 5 with "Closer". It's another surprise top 10 debut this week, this time going to Deorro's latest single, "Bailar" up 6 spots to #7. Two songs enter the top 20 this week: The Weeknd continues his stretch to the stars as "Starboy" launches up another 8 spots to #17, while Meghan Trainor scores another top 20 in "Better", coming in at #19. Two more songs enter the top 30 this week: Alessia Cara rushes in at #25 with "Scars To Your Beautiful" while Sia jumps up 6 spots to #28 with "The Greatest". A whopping five songs enter the top 40 this week including our greatest gainer, this week going to Rihanna's "Love On The Brain" up 11 spots to #37. Other top 40 risers include Ellie Goulding's soundtrack single "Still Falling For You" at #34, Audien's latest single "Crazy Love" at #35, the latest BJSC flop "In The Dark" up 10 spots to #36, and Melanie's third top 40 with "Soap" at #39. I see Bailar is flying high here, didn't like it at first but definitely enjoy hearing it now.

 

Good seeing Blow Your Mind enter, not as good as Hotter Than Hell but keeping me relatively hyped for the album.

I kinda find it hilarious that Bulgarian Selena Gomez lite blocked Poundland Bieber :P A 5th #1 had to happen with Conor somehow. He's tied Zedd for second most #1's! *Ignite goes #1*

 

Bailar is a f*cking ANTHEM HOLY SHIT. I'm not entirely sure if it's gonna end up being a surprise #1 (there's always one around this time of year), but we'll see.

I think I'm getting bored of Millionaire oops

 

I think the last two weeks have really been balancing the giant chart purge that happened over the beginning of the month, so that's nothing out of the ordinary. Plus I'm discovering songs that I like but not enough to beat out stuff that's been in the chart for a while. I think I'm ready for another chart haul, "Bring Back The Summer" has spent enough weeks :P
