It's encouraging to see that Mixers streaming better wasn't just a one off for SOTME

This whole video dilemma is so disappointing since that easily would have made the song go Top 3. Is there ANY word at all on when we might see a release? Not that it'll do much at this point, but I obviously still wanna see it.

How long do we think Radio 1 will keep this on the playlist. I'm hoping for at least 1 or even 2 more weeks.

 

Surely 2+ . I know they're never that hot on the girls, but 'Touch' is still a big hit and it's only on its 4 week on the playlist so far. Even 'Hair' got a month on the A-list.

Yeah, I agree. Not releasing it is one thing, but to keep the fans completely in the dark as to when it's coming is a bit iffy, especially since we know it was shot months ago.

Surely it's a result of the songs reaching a wider audience, rather than 'Mixers' streaming? I just think the past two singles have been a lot more accessible than say, LMLY or 'Hair'. It's partly why I'm so apprehensive of an 'Oops' release -- it sort of reverts them back to 'guilty pleasure' territory.

Hopefully we get the video this weekend, there's still time for a re-peak this week, but any later and I'm not so sure!!

Yeah, I certainly would not turn my nose up at a #4 peak either, especially 3 weeks of that. But somehow it doesn't feel that big really. I feel like even Hair felt bigger at the time. I don't really know why, maybe it's because the video isn't in circulation?

 

Ideally the video would come tomorrow and they'd reduce the song to 59p, but that's just obvious wishful thinking.

I am feeling the exact same way to be honest. I haven't felt it really impacting. Also probably due to lack of video. Now the videos needs to be pretty good. If it's cheap I'll be upset.

Good news though, Touch has now crossed into Silver. Their TWELTH certificated single.

That is tremendous news, but with a video it would be Gold by now.

That's now seven singles in a row that have been certified- you can probably guess the last one that wasn't. Number 4 is great for a post album single but I can't help but have this nagging feeling that it would've have needed much of a boost to get in the top 3, which the video would've given it

To me Touch doesn't sound like it would belong on Radio 2's playlist, I'd personally be surprised if they decided to add it (although happy).

Touch had a week on the B list, so this week actually matches Hair's run, which was the longest one of their post-album singles managed on the playlist, so I do fear that it'll be taken off this week, before the video has dropped.

Always great to get another single certified. I know LM have the girl group record in the UK but does anyone know the overall record for a British group?

They've missed the boat with the video I think (again). Obviously it's still doing the business regardless, but I think having the video out around new year would have been most advantageous.

I heard this in the club for the first time on Saturday and it's cemented itself as my favourite Little Mix song.
