Makes sense. I did think it was part of some feature where they played the iTunes top 10 originally, but apparently not. As nice as it'd be to have two singles flying high at the same time, I'd rather Oops didn't eat into Touch's airplay.

 

Edit: Touch is up to #31 on Spotify today! They're on the cover of 'Hot Hits' too, although I'm not sure if it was like that yesterday.

The airplay they receive is insane. I've been listening to Capital since 6AM, and I've heard 'Touch' 3 times, and SOTME and 'Oops' twice each. Definitely seems like the latter is getting regular rotation.

I'm not sure where SOTME is now, it might have been downgraded for Touch but Oops is A now.

Nice! I love that Capital have hammered them ever since 'Move'. It's amazing that 'Touch' is S-list already, take note R1!

 

I'm glad 'Oops' is picking up some airplay to help it stabilise. I kind of hope it doesn't get granted official single status now, so that we can get that run of SOTME-Touch-NMSS-Power.

It's going to have a huge climb next the week after Christmas is over, particularly on Spotify.

Touch is going to smash in 2017

Willing for it to be the first new number 1 of 2017 tbh.

 

Also, I think it'll be a couple of weeks before it picks up again. A lot of "end of year" charts and playlists will be made. So will probs benefit the likes of 'One Dance', 'Can't Stop The Feeling' and 'Shout Out to My Ex' more tbh. Hopefully I'm over estimating the end of year effect.

I hope you're over estimating the effect it will have on One Dance- that song has made us all suffer enough!
