If "Hallelujah" rises, I really hope it's his version that rises instead of the Jeff Buckley/Alexandra versions which have done well enough. R.I.P. to a true lyrical genius. :(

#42 Leonard Cohen - Hallelujah

R.I.P.

His new album will climb back up too I guess.

Ps: the Jeff Buckley, Alexandra Burke versions are also top 120.

No sign of the Pentatonix version?

Oops: #127 ;)

Vamps should secure a second week top 40 being 59p, they were rising on iTunes as it is. I can see it outselling everything from the last era now, as a high iTunes placing will pick it up more airplay from commercail radio.

New Gio Moroderer featuring Karen Harding single is a pretty good!
Love the new Zara song... wish she would hurry with an album already!
Hallelujah would have been JLS' song if they'd have won which they should have
Xmas Update

215. The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl- Fairytale of New York

Also at 427. The Pogues always start off lower than Mariah and then overtake during December (on sales at least) - wonder why this is?

Wonder if Nicole Kidmans version will get anywhere

Your comment made me dig out "The Moulin Rouge" Soundtrack again, some different songs on there ("Your Song" by Ewan McGregor anyone ?).

Interesting that "Your Song" was also covered by Ellie Goulding for the 2010 John Lewis Advert!
