Madonna's next single 'Jump' the fourth and likely final single from Confessions on a Dance Floor is due to hit stores in America on October 24th and in the UK on November 6th.

Jump is receiving better US airplay than Sorry and Get Together put together so this gives us an indication that it could make the Hot 100! :) Radio has always been on Madonna's side in the UK so airplay is bound to take off!!

So...predict the singles chart placements for both the USA & UK!

USA # 24

UK # 5

I don't know the US charts well enough to guess.

In the UK, I think 7 or 8.

US - # 10

UK - # 1

number 1 in the UK? with U2 and Green Day releasing a single the same week???

and number 10 in the US...I would love that!

UK #9 (hopefully higher.... )

Don't really care about the US.

No no we must care for the good ole U S of A! Madgey needs our support and we must request it on radio!! See my thread for "Jump maxi single release date changed again!" :)

Good boys n' gurrls!

'Jump' is featured in the trailers to 'The Devil Wears Prada' and in the film itself.

But that film's been gone in the US.

Will this exposure help?

I'd say it'll help in the UK...the trailers are on every so often and the video seems to be in heavy rotation! As for America....well yeah the films gone but the song seems to be doing well on Hot AC radio format where its currently at #25! Seems like our requests are working so far :)
I would predict top5 in the UK - it will certainly do better than Get Together but probably not as well as Sorry or Hung up because many people have the album now and its the 4th single from it.

I definitley wouldn't call myself a Madonna fan but i'm loving this track at the moment. :o I was really unsure about it at first but now I think its ace. ^_^

I don't have a clue were it will get to in the US but i'll go for #30, and in the UK I reckon it will just scrape the Top 10.

Just scrape the top 10?? Impossible!!

More likely it'll just scrape the top 5!!

A song thats been well promoted..i.e Confessions tour, radio airplay, video exposure and ofcourse its inclusion in 'The Devil wears Parada' will definately get her high in the top 10..this is Madonna let us not forget! :)
