So happy when this became a hit *.*No probs Uv, glad you joined me for the best bits  Hopefully you approve of the rest of the top 10, HFTW is gorgeous though!! 84. Their top 3 for me now is Flex, Worth It, WFH now in that order with this just outside, they've had some bangers  64. I was expecting it to pick up more in the charts but then it all just seemed to fizzle out, shame because it's better than Intoxicated for me! 60. It is so underrated, it's just a pure banger  46. I agree, I hope she comes back with a hit soon though because she always puts out catchy stuff and I don't want her to be forgot alread y :( 33. Everyone just seems to hate her but she's always releasing great pop tunes imo and this is no expection, so much fun  31. Me too, I'm glad it was the track to do so because Love Myself is overrated for me :drama: 28. I wasn't expecting it to take off at all so was well chuffed when it did, hopefully Not In Love can do the same! Thanks for commenting  Hymn For the Weekend was a surprisingly catchy track! Hope DLMD & TYB do well! Yeah, it really was! Glad it was such a massive chart hit too and managed a very lengthy top 40 run! Thanks for commenting Pete :D Work From Home - I got hooked on this after my first listen. Easily one of the catchiest song of the year and one of the best videos of the year. Hair - Again the video to this was brill. Sean Paul adding another classic verse too. PILLOWTALK - Certainly the best ex-1D song get. Very cool tune :puke2: at Hymn For The Weekend though. Possibly the most boring song of all time.Hi Lewis WFH - For sure! Both this and Flex had such fun videos, hope they continue to do well without Camila in the future though!! Hair - They always seem to have such fantastic videos brimming with personality, hope the Touch one is just as good when we get it! PillowTalk - I'm hoping Harry's track is great too if he ever releases one, he's always had the best voice for me and been my favourite member of the lot for a while  Thanks for commenting :) Work From Home and Formation were amongst my top urban hits of the year! Pillowtalk not the best start to your top 10 oops, I liked Hymn for the Weekend though. One of Coldplay's best efforts of the last 5 years.Me too for sure, it's been a great year for urban smashes this year  Glad you approve of half the tracks at least, both HFTW and AOAL are probably Coldplay's best tracks of all-time for me, done a real turnaround on them this era! Cheers Dan! Hair, Formation and Work From Home from the set before the last  Top 10 WOOP. 'PILLOWTALK' (or however he stylises it) is so fantastic. I didn't want to like it I don't think but the intense production, his surprisingly good vocals in it and the darkness of it all kept bringing me back. I was at a house party and they had it BLASTING it out with the lights off and it was that moment that I properly got into it. So sultry and hot! Hymn For The Weekend is decent but would rank fairly low on my list of Coldplay singles tbh  A nice enough tune though ~ Excited for the rest of this now ~~~Hiya Bal Lol at the styling of all the Zayn tracks, what was he even doing with all the mixing of upper & lower case  It does sound even better loud for sure, was shocked at how good it was though because he was never one that stood out to me much from 1D HFTW is in my top 2 of Coldplay with AOAL for me now, they've had sucha great era imo  Thanks  Hey Josh! :D Great start to the top 10! PILLOWTALK is easily Zayn's best song so far for me, and Hymn for the Weekend is the only Coldplay song I actually like! Generally find them quite dull :( Really like a lot of your top 8! Hoping Stitches can finish as high as possible :wub:I've found them quite dull for pretty much their whole career too but done a big turnaround on them this era and loved them all of a sudden, this is definitely one of their best for me. Thanks Joseph  This is so different from 1D stuff. That's probably the reason I love this song so much. I'd like to see Calvin or Shawn Mendes at number 1 here. :P Hi Jason I agree, wasn't expecting it to sound anything like that but it worked so well, shame the rest of his output wasn't so good! Keep tuned for the reveal! Thanks for commenting :P

Bebe Rexha - In the Name of Love / (35-9-1-3-3-2-1-2-6-11-20-28-29-45-50-x) 15 weeks I'm probably one of the few people around who would rank All In My Head (Flex) as the best Fifth Harmony track yet but for me, it is just so catchy and how can you not just love it. I really wish it was a bigger hit because it's just as good as WFH imo and the video was loads of fun yet again. Also, king of rap Fetty Wap adds a bit more excellence to the track too   In The Name of Love is one of those tracks that just refused to get old for me, the drop still just sounds so fresh many months after first hearing it and it even returned to the top spot on personal chart three weeks after its first week there! Bebe is also a great vocalist so I'm glad she's being utilised on catchy dance tracks too :music: Rihanna actually has THREE tracks in the top 5 which is quite an impressive feat but Kiss It Better is her first to drop out. It's a sultry and sexy track and it really just sounds so impressive when played out loud, unfortunately it completely flopped in the charts and won't be one of her classics like it should be :( Don't Let Me Down is another example of the more infectious dance tracks of the year, the drop is bangin' and the vocals are excellent too, I love when she properly starts going for it towards the end  A shame this isn't their defining hit and the far weaker, Closer, is :(
December 31, 20168 yr Like to love all of those to varying degrees! In The Name Of Love is solid, wouldn't listen to it out of choice that much though! Flex is pretty good but I'd have it near the bottom of my singles rankings for them tbh! (Definitely 9/10 but I think I only prefer it to Miss Movin On!) Kiss It Better is fab, best thing Rihanna has done in years but still not as good as her 2007-2011 era for me! Don't Let Me Down is one of my favourite tracks of the year & it really is incredible so fab to see that so high here! <3 Definitely agree with you about Daya's excellent vocals & also gutted bloody Closer was so much bigger than this :(
December 31, 20168 yr In The Name Of Love - I loved this for a few weeks but I tired of it quickly. Bebe is always great as a feature though. All In My Head (Flex) - Another amazing single from the girls. Fetty Wap is always iconic too. Don't Let Me Down - The only Chainsmokers song I've liked this year, but #SELFIE is a massive tune.
December 31, 20168 yr All Four of those songs are pretty great my favourite being In The Name Of love which is such a great dance songs and Bebe's vocals really shine on it rather than Me Myself and I which grated after a while. Will look over the whole top 100 at some point (when its done I promise!)
December 31, 20168 yr Hey Josh :D Flex is really underrated I think, I've always really liked it! Fetty sounded awful at first but I grew to quite enjoy his part for what it is  Don't Let Me Down has one of the best drops of the year, Daya sounds fantastic too and I was really rooting for it to be a hit, so to see it blow up was excellent! I still much prefer it to any of their other tracks.

I love the drop the most! It has a killer chorus and both artists just have SO much star power. The Nicki verse is of course *-* as usual, she is still on top form after so many years now  This Is What You Came For was in my EOY top 2 for pretty much the whole year but has now dropped down to the not-too-shabby final placing of #4, it's an absolute banger of a dance track and absolutely slays when played out loud at a party. I never found the video great to begin with either but I absolutely adore it now, Rihanna is so damn cool.. WORK VS. TREAT YOU BETTER! STAY TUNED!
January 1, 20178 yr All In My Head is a bop and the video helps a lot, a shame it floped so hard :w00t:
January 1, 20178 yr I'd be delighted with either of Work or Treat You Better being #1 tbh  This Is What You Came For was such a strong pop song, released at exactly the right time and with a drop that was unique compared to all the tropical house in the charts at the time! I also loved Side To Side a lot when it was first released as a single  Such a good countdown on the whole Josh, Happy New Year :D
January 1, 20178 yr Side To Side was an early favourite from the album for me too. The video is brilliant and Nicki's verse is solid. I am delighted it managed to get Ariana back in to the top 10 in the UK chart as well after Dangerous Woman & Into You couldn't. I hope Work is your number one.

Work is now one of my favourite Rihanna tracks ever, it is just so catchy and she delivers the swaggyness of it like nobody but her possibly could. It's cool, it's catchy and it sounds amazing loud and there could be no other track for EOY #1 for me  Treat You Better put up a good fight though and has done very well to make it higher in the EOY that did in any week of it's weekly chart run which isn't a bad feat at all! He's still not had a number one on my chart despite Stitches having the longest personal chart run ever and this haven't the longest personal chart run of the year but I'm sure he'll get a number one soon, he is the king of longevity though it seems  TYB is just a track that gets stuck in your head from the first listen and it's impossible to not lip sync it at the top of your voice every time it comes on too. I've said Shawn is great at ad libs before too and this is no exception either, so good! Thank you to everyone for commenting along the way, I hope you enjoyed it :D Edited January 2, 20178 yr by Josh.

January 2, 20178 yr Queen Rihanna slaying your chart :D Work is a million times better than TYB so I'm glad that's at #1 here. That and TIWYCF will both make appearances in my EOY top 50! In The Name Of Love is so brilliant too, really love how versatile Martin Garrix can be. He's got a new track coming soon with Dua Lipa so I'm very excited for that.
January 2, 20178 yr Hi Josh Not too keen on Work, Treat You Better is so much better imo. :P Fifth Harmony ahead of Little Mix. :nono:  Yes at The Girl Is Mine in the top 20. It was a lovely hit last January. Fab chart! :yahoo:
January 2, 20178 yr Hi Josh! Sorry I've not commented until now, but a very nice countdown here. I'm not a fan of Work at all unfortunately, BUT Kiss it Better is really underrated and definitely the best thing I heard from her this era. Side to Side I should technically hate, but it's ridiculously catchy oops Others lower down: 83. Glass Animals - Youth (I preferred Life Itself personally, but this was pretty cool too) 66. Kings of Leon - Waste a Moment (pretty good comeback from them, shame it didn't do much) 41. Protoje - Who Knows (Shy FX remix) (Omg I hear this on Radio 1 every morning without fail! God knows why when it didn't do anything, but it's a nice reggae song, I mistook it for Ne-Yo on the chorus originally) 40. Shura - Touch (Didn't know this was re-released this year, great song though <3) 29. Imany - Don't Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas Remix) (why was this not a hit :'( perfect summer dance tune) 14. Beyonce - Formation (my fave from the album as well, though Freedom/Don't Hurt Yourself aren't far behind)
