Hi Pete

Keep meaning to comment here but so much I don't know

Omg at my very own BJSC entry appearing here though, didn't realise anybody liked it that much :o Thanks for the support !!

I need to listen to more from Felix Jaehn really, keep missing his new tracks but I adored Shine and I imagine a collaboration with ALMA would sound amazing!!!

Your entry was really fun and catchy :D

Thanks Josh :D

The Feed Me song was pretty good!

Thanks Harry :D

had a listen to Funeral, This House is Not For Sale, and Hole in My Soul and they were all really good! especially loved Funeral  looking forward to hearing what's coming :D

Glad you liked them! Funeral is my favourite non-album single from the album, if it was a single it would be a lot higher!

Thanks Alanna :D

Hi Pete, Yay at Hole In My Soul in your countdown (just missed mine) and Rockabye about the same stage as it is in mine

DAILY STRUGGLE

I adore Rockabye, Clean Bandit have delivered the best two songs of their career so far this year imo, with this and Tears! Anne-Marie sounds incredible on it and Sean Paul adds the fun factor *.*

Hey Pete! <3 Big catch-up!

Rockabye is fab, glad how much of a massive hit it has become

Do It Right is also incredible, one of my favourite dance tracks of the year & it really should have become a massive hit!

Don't Need No Moeny is also really good! No Money is also great while on that theme!

Cheap Thrills is fab & one of the defining tracks of 2016 for me! <3

Loved your Douwe track that you entered into BJSC & glad to see it pop up here  Really loved him since Eurovision!

Perfect Illusion & The Flute just missing out :(

A catchy dance-style track, this really changed my opinion of Madeline!

Rockabye is a TUNE. Funky mix of vintage Clean Bandit with a fresh twist :music:

Agree!

I wasn't a big fan of Tears actually, but this, as you said, is amazing!

Thanks Joseph :D

Glad you like these songs :D It is a shame that Do it Right & Don't Need No Money didn't get any higher than they did :(

I don't know where you got Perfect Illusion from, that was never in my chart

Thanks UV! :D

57. Gavin James - Nervous (Mark McCabe Remix)

Chart Run: (14-1-3-8-17-33-) / Total Points: 170

Gavin James' 2016:

57. Nervous (Mark McCabe Remix)

Mark McCabe's 2016:

57. Nervous (Gavin James - Mark McCabe Remix)

When I first heard this, I thought nothing of it. Then I began to hear it more and more on the radio, and found myself singing it in my head as well! So it had to be a #1 - unfortunately it wore off really quickly afterwards.

The Parakit's 2016:

56. Save Me (ft. Alden Jacob)

Alden Jacob's 2016:

56. Save Me (The Parakit ft. Alden Jacob)

Another of my big discoveries this year, this track really grew on me, and has an undeservedly short chart run :(

Rockabye is great, one of my favourite songs this year. I haven't heard any of the other songs here however.

I like the birds singing in the beginning of Save Me  Just kidding, that song is really nice.

You have an interesting music taste, there are so many unknown songs in this chart. :drama: :P

I just listened to that Madeline Juno track, I sent her song Like Lovers Do to BJSC in 2014 but hadn't listened to anything since then  but I really liked it!! The video is fantastic too, gonna have to download it

55. Keane - Tear Up This Town

Chart Run: (26-12-7-4-9-19-37-) / Total Points: 172

Keane's 2016:

55. Tear Up This Town

So Keane make a brief return for a soundtrack to 'A Monster Calls!' As with most soundtrack songs, I've not actually seen the film, but this song is great, even if we won't hear from Keane again for another few years.

Glad you like it! I haven't heard much of her either, I've listened to Into The Night & Stupid Girl but this is by far my favourite

Thanks Joseph :D

Hi Pete

Was really expecting that Gavin James track to pick up in the official chart actually but it just seemed to fizzle out in the end. It sounded like a massive hit to my ears and I was expecting a #1 or top 10 hit from it but then nothing happened at all, it wore off for me pretty quickly too though actually though do I still like it..

:)

Lovely to see Bon Jovi make a surprise appearance here, I thought that track was really good - didn't expect to like it as much as I did, though, came as quite of a surprise to me :o

Also nice to see Why and Rockabye do well

54. MOWE - Your Skin (ft. Bright Sparks)

Chart Run: (26-18-10-6-7-15-31-) / Total Points: 174

MOWE's 2016:

?? Lovers Friends (MOWE & Daniel Nitt)

54. Your Skin (ft. Bright Sparks)

Bright Sparks' 2016:

54. Your Skin (MOWE ft. Bright Sparks)

So this is the mediocre MOWE track sandwitched in between the 2 #1s (the latter 'Back In the Summer', was too recent to make this EOY), this was a little disappointing but by no means bad!
