Hi Harry

Ah, Gameshow is their weakest album for you :o I've never listened to any of their others and only really taken notice of Sleep Alone from them but this album was fantastic imo and still enjoying it atm. So glad Ordinary has been chosen as the next single, so much stronger than Bad Decisions for me.

Joanne is probably Gaga's strongest album yet for me, it has excellent heart-felt moments as well as the catchier pop tunes too and nothing feels messy or just terrible like some moments on her previous albums. I need Diamond Heart to be the next single though, it would be a huge shame if it wasn't :(

Hi Josh,

Yeah I much prefer the others and tbh you should have a listen to the others such great indie music  I am glad Ordinary was picked too althugh I wanted Je Veins De La.

I would say Joanne is my second strongest Gaga album after The Fame/Fame Monster :o

Thanks for the comment :D

I Say: "After the what I thought was the mediocre 'Beauty Behind The Madness' this album has excelled my expectations. The whole 16 tracks are good really so glad he has made this album. The massive highlight comes from the disclosure influenced 'Rockin' which sees just how good The Weeknd's vocals are against the electronic dance music. I highly recommend that song"

I Say: "I really was not expecting this to be great. Really grow on me with each listen. And spoiler this this the lowest charting album posisition to feature on the countdown. "One Woman Man" is fantastic gives the group a new side to them with great lyrics too. Honestly not only that song the lyrics and songs are very well done for a group that has been around for like 20 years they seem so fresh with their material too. For me their best album (well not heard the others in full but still)"

I Say: "After a lengthy hiatus I was wondering if we were ever going to see another The Last Shadow Puppets album and then out of nowhere came 'Bad Habits' which is a really upbeat indie track, great return to form . I Say: "Last year this album impacted my chart after the cut-off point :(. However, 2015's EOY loss is 2016's gain. The whole album is fantastic. Features upbeat moments such as the Beyoncé collaboration 'Hymn For The Weekend' the brill Tove Lo collab 'Fun' or the lead single 'Adventure Of A Lifetime' but also slowed down moments such as the haunting 'Everglow' and 'Up&Up' the two sides that have always been what Coldplay is about. Whilst I may love some of their other albums more I would say this is third or fourth place in my ranking of their albums ".

I Say: "It may have had a huge album to live up to aka the incredible 2013 debut album 'Bad Blood'. See them take the sound they are known for and change it so ever slightly. It still works though. Dan's vocals are as strong as ever before and the lyrical content on this album is decipherable as ever before. Welcome Back Bastille you have a made a great follow up and this is coming from a guy who was worried we would never get a follow up at some point so huge praise "

2016: Make Me… (Ooh) [27-17-4-6-8-12-17-26-36] (9 Weeks)

I Say: "After the last two albums were mediocre and lacking the classic lovable Britney personality both in music and in interviews. I mean the singles were the best part with a few gems like Inside Out. This is the return to form from one of my favourite pop princesses. The album oozes sexiness in 'Make Me... (Ooh)' and 'Slumber Party' as well as show her fun side in 'Love Me Down' and 'Liar'. Not to mention her more softer side in 'Man On The Moon'. To think last year when she released 'Pretty Girls' I kind of lost all hope but this return has re-ignited my love for Britney. ITS BRITNEY BITCH!".

Hi Harry

So much to catch up on from last night :o First of all, Je Viens De La is a big highlight for me too, hoping it will be the next single after Ordinary.

Pretty much love all these albums in the latest batch. Britney is of course capable of a lot better than the majority of Glory but it's still a fun album and the hooks are definitely there. A shame Slumber Party hasn't been a big hit because it does sound so current, especially with Tinashe featuring on it.

Bad Blood is definitely the stronger Bastille album but after initial disappointment, Wild World has really grown on me, especially after getting to see them live this year. Good Grief is one of their best tracks ever for me too, it's glorious

I've never been huge on Coldplay but I adored their most recent album. There weren't many single highlights from me apart from the two first singles but the whole thing is very cohesive and there are no duds at all. Some good peak for them on your chart for this era!

:D

Glory and Glory Days are probably the most solid albums of 2016. The former for its versatility and the latter for the quality of tracks.
From your last few sections, I LOVE Red Flag, Glory Days and Glory! All I Need is pretty solid too :D Glory is Britney's best album in a long while for me, so glad it's been well received in the fanbase!

The Last Shadow Puppets had some decent songs out this year! 'Miracle Aligner' was my favourite but I liked Aviation as well!

Hi Pete!

I agree it had some great songs on the album and them two singles were good!

Hi Josh,

Glad you agree about Je Veins De La.

Hmm I think it does show of her capabilty tbh, The catchiness is defainty there and it shows that Britney can still bring it  Yeah Slumber Party does sound very current :(

It has grown on me too as I was disappointed with the album kinda like I liked it a lot and made it number one but there was something about that I wanted more at the same time but eventually it grew on me!

I would say give Coldplay a proper try tbh they are such a great and understated band

Glory and Glory Days are probably the most solid albums of 2016. The former for its versatility and the latter for the quality of tracks.

Hey CODEH,

Completly agree there!

I Say: 'Their debut was amazingly done and well put together they had high hopes from me from the album. The album is versitile and covers a different sides to her. He has gained new fans while wanting to make the old fans happy. A rarity I know. I think like Bastille and Britney In the future I will go to their other album more. However, I do think this a great album and woudl ahve been top 10 if it wasn't for those pesky other 10 albums. Oops.

Both of those should definitely be higher! I Remember is such a vast improvement on Body Music for me, it's almost as if they're by two different artists! Wrong Crowd keeps up the quality of Long Way Down, I was worried he might suffer the curse of the second album but he really didn't  Yay at the Jealousy nod in your top 5, I've come to really love that one, the lyrics are stunning

20 Starboy is amazing, I especially loved the title track which is soo cool!

19 All Saints' comeback was amazing as well - 'One Woman Man' is a standout along with lead single 'One Strike'.

18 Foxes never fails to impress. My favorite is 'Better Love'!

16 Glory Days is my least favorite LM album yet, but I love 'Power' and 'Touch'!

15 Coldplay are my parents' fav current band so it's hard for me not to love them! 'Hymn', 'Everglow' and 'Up&Up' are standouts but most of the album is great!

13 I was really disappointed by Britney's newest album. Not much that I like except 'Make Me' on here tbh.

Hiya Harry

Have never though to listen to the Tom Odell album because I've always found him a bit boring but in all honesty, I've been really enjoying the singles he's been putting out this era. Magnetised is definitely my favourite though, his best track yet for sure!

I only listened to I Remember (the album) once and never went back to it because I found it a bit boring but the singles have been amazing and all top 10 hits in my chart too. It just seemed to be banger after banger from Aluna so I'm gutted that I didn't enjoy the album as much :(
