 76. Greg Lake - I Believe In Father Christmas (+110)

"I Believe In Father Christmas" is another Christmas classic that peaked originally at number 2 and is an annual favourite (Mariah Carey, The Pogues, Wham! as well)

Rag'n'Bone Man has also won this year's BRIT's Critics Choice award so this might have helped him further on iTunes!

What's out tomorrow of note that could dent the iTunes top 100?

DJ Fresh & Diplo, M.O. & the new J Cole album?

As THE YEAR come to a close there'll be less new songs being released, I just hope the chart doesn't get real stale this January but that is probably asking for too much

:cheer: I'm hoping the gift card week will give him a little push in the right direction.

We were lucky this year. Plenty of songs breaking through. I assume we'll see a top 5 entry from Major Lazer plus there's bound to be some Harry/Louis material to chart, and there's obviously the future hits that could break through, but apart from that it seems a bit dry.

New albums from The XX and You me at 6 in the opening weeks of the year - so busy enough!
Greg Lake was up to 12% combined - falling a bit now though.

Doesn't gift card week push all 'new' hits down massively and bring back loads of big hits from the year? I imagine RagnBoneMan will drop quite a bit but rise again in the new year. May well be the first new number one of 2017.
