05. PRIVATE SHOW [Avg. 8.69]

 

 

Here we have the early 00s throwback, which harkens back to tracks like 'AM to PM'. It's one of the most fun songs on the album, and though slightly too retro sounding to probably work as a single, is one I go back to the most. I hope it makes it on to the tour setlist because it's sure to be a highlight, given how infectious it is.

My fave is out :( but expected, Shout Out To My Ex to go out, it's not on the same level as the rest.

Private Show is very good, but not one of my faves and I actually find it quite annoying sometimes. Not annoying enough to skip, yet, but it's getting there. But for now, it's a fun throwback!

I can imagine the dance routine to Private Show!

04. SHOUT OUT TO MY EX [Avg. 9.66]

 

 

Hang on a minute. We have one of the fastest selling singles of the year, by a Buzzjack fave artist and it hasn't WON a rate!? HOLY HECK AT THAT AVERAGE FOR A #4 PLACING THOUGH!!! WHAAAATTTT!! Well, what do I say about this that hasn't already been said? What an ANTHEM and the PERFECT comeback single, imo. Ease the audiences through the motions and changes in sound as opposed to going straight for it like DNA to Salute. SMASH IT GIRLS. This song does things to me and it makes me SO happy that it's the song that seems to have FINALLY put them in a position that we've longed for since their first album! GO ON GIRLS.

 

HIGHLIGHT: Perrie's bridge with the harmonies before the final chorus! HOLY HELL. Also worth mentioning Jade's adlibs!

03. POWER [Avg. 9.69]

 

 

So JUST pipping 'Shout Out To My Ex' to the number 3 spot, it's the incredible and future smash, 'Power'! The track in which the girls go HARD in. Possibly their most daring song too date! Every time I hear this song, I HAVE to turn it up and I can't help but envision a video for this. Maybe something similar to Fergie's 'M.I.L.F.$.' except less "adult" and more cheeky. With the girls arriving in a town full of guys and basically OWNING them at every given opportunity! The "Ohhh, woah-oh" towards the very end of the song is gonna sound incredible in a live atmosphere!

 

HIGHLIGHT: Obviously Jesy's "MOTORBIKE. MOTORBIKE. MOTORBIKE. MOTORBIKE. BIKE. BIKE. BIKE..." is already ICONIC. But my favourite part is the beginning and Perrie absolutely SMASHING the opening!

02. NO MORE SAD SONGS [Avg. 9.91]

 

 

In the runner-up position is my personal favourite from the album and hopefully a future single. The lucious, smooth and gorgeous 'No More Sad Songs'. This song is possibly the most current and "on trend" the girls have ever been. The production on this is so lush and seems like a perfect fit for a late August/Early September release. The vocals, as ever, are beautifully delivered and quite sensual. Perrie's rather subdued "no more sad songs" are so heartbreaking. </3

 

HIGHLIGHT: The melody. Absolutely stunning.

01. TOUCH [Avg. 10]

 

 

And here it is, the winner of the initial rate for 'Glory Days', and with a perfect rating of "10", we have 'Touch'. 'Touch' has since been OFFICIALLY announced as the 2nd single from the album and it's easy to see why! It's very current and seems like it's a smash waiting to happen. The chorus is just BEGGING for FIYAH choreography! I believe this was once considered to be the first single at some point and went through the rumour mill with Ariana's name attached to it, which unfortunately for us, didn't come to light. </3 IMAGINE THAT. Not only the song, but the video! *.* 100% a worthy winner and I'm just pleased this was the winner, even before being announced as the single (as predictable as it seemed!).

 

HIGHLIGHT: The chorus is 100% LIT AF! The performances are gonna be... HOLY SHIT!!
