Posted December 25, 20168 yr I usually make a Top30 and this year will be the same. I'm very into mainstream Pop, so it's easy to know some of the songs that could enter the Top30. As I'm from Spain sometimes there are Spanish songs or groups but not this year. I've hated this years Pop music so it's much easier than oher years for me to make the Top30. As an example here is my last years Top30 MnIS3awB_9k Edited December 25, 20168 yr by seltinpixmile
December 27, 20168 yr Really really hyped for this! Especially judging by that fabulous 2015 top 30! My highlights from 2015: Fight Song, Bad Blood, Love Me Like You, Style, I Really Like You, Wildest Dreams, Love Me Like You Do, Run Away With Me, Blank Space, Black Magic, Marvin Gaye, Good For You & Cool For The Summer are all 10/10 incredible  7 of your top 30 were in my top 10 of the EOY last year! :o (The first 7 songs from above! and tbh Run Away With Me rly should have been top 10! Also Blank Space was top 10 in my 2014 EOY!) Once again fabulous selection for 2015 & rly hyped for this years! <3
December 27, 20168 yr Author Usually spanish songs or english songs by spanish groups enter my chart but this year no. This year some live performances could enter (seeing my avatar you could know whose  ). This years chart could be a bit different from lasts years (as for me this year has been a very bad year for Pop Music). This was my 2014 chart haX6td9fUEo I will probably start posting my chart tomorrow :D
December 27, 20168 yr Yas for us being matching 2015 EOY number ones yay for Little Mix and Carly Rae Jepsen there too!
December 28, 20168 yr Author This first group of songs is about songs that I like but that I knew since I started doing the Top30 that wouldn't make it. 2 Eurovision Songs (I usually discover the songs when I watch the final, so that doesn't help :kink: ): Poli Genova- If Love Was A Crime Barei- Say Yay P!nk- Just Like Fire: It's a nice song, but not enough. Justin Bieber- Sorry: It was in the Top5 of 2015 but as I got over it early it couldn't make the Top30 this year. Louisa Johnson- So Good: I like a lot but It started liking me too late to be in the Top30. Taylor Swift- Out Of The Woods: I didn't like it in the begining and the video helped me a lot to like it but not enough to make the Top30. Kygo- Raging: A catchy song, but nothing more special. The last one from this group: It was that much played in parties, radio etc that I didn't have the song in my mobile phone until October (although the song started slaying months before, that's why I was sure that it wouldn't enter my Top30). -UV0QGLmYys (The second group of songs will be about the songs that I wanted them to make the Top30 but finally didn't). Edited December 28, 20168 yr by seltinpixmile
December 28, 20168 yr Both Eurovision songs are good, as is So Good! :D Looking forward to seeing what made it!
December 29, 20168 yr Author Songs that didn't make the Top30 although I wanted them to be there. Selena Gomez- Hands To Myself: The video helped the song to be better, the last part of the songs is epic. :yahoo: Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello- I Know What You Did Last Summer: I really liked the song (and also the live performances) but it got old very fast. Niall Horan- This Town: I love Niall (in every way that he could be loved, he's the pure one, the different one, the blonde, the cutest, the most childish one, he has a distinctive voice etc  :w00t: ), he is my favourite member on One Direction and I was a fan of One Direction thanks to him but at the begining I though the song was really boring, then I quite like it but it was very late. Both Sia hits: Cheap Thrills: The song was overplayed on the radio and that's why I got over it sooner than I expected. The Greatest: I hated on the begining, I first listened to it 5 minutes after listening to Closer for the first time and as a hated Closer I though The Greatest was also really bad but weeks after I listened for another time and I like it. My Favourite from this group: JVt4oljqL38 (The next last group will be the ones that got nearer to enter: 34 To 31). :) Edited December 29, 20168 yr by seltinpixmile
December 29, 20168 yr Cheap Thrills died out fairly quickly on my charts, but it still managed to hold a strong 5 days at #1 (which is no small feat)! I don't know how much overplay affected it, but it still fared quite decently. It just barely made it onto the Top 100 of my Year End List, so that's something in its favor. :P
December 29, 20168 yr So many good songs just missing out! Adore If Love Was A Crime, So Good, Out Of The Woods, Just Like Fire, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Hands To Myself & Cheap Thrills <3 I'd say out of those OOTW is probably my favourite, one of my favourite ever Taylor tracks & the video re-affirmed my love for it
December 29, 20168 yr Author 34 To 31 34. Disclosure ft. Lorde- Magnets: I discovered the song very late (march I think). I feel like it's a very sexy song -_- 33. Demi Lovato- Stone Cold: I love the song when she sings it live, but the studio version + the video are a bit boring. 32. Ellie Goulding- Still Falling For You: I like the song but as a lot of songs I listened to it very late (although as I have a voting chart I knew the existence of the song for 2 months or so  ) 31 Matt Terry- When Christmas Comes Around Here appears my man off the year, my favourite X Factor contestant ever (during the show because after the show there are still some that I like a lot as Little Mix, Leona Lewis and Niall). I fall in love with him and his voice in the first audition that I watched and watching him winnin was awesome   The song is only 3 weeks old so there was no time for it to make the Top30 and also I prefer to put his first studio song in a remarkable position like 31 instead of being in the 20s because he's not as the others neither the song is. But don't worry because there could be some live performances from Matt on the X Factor inside the Top30  E9WStCiCdOU Edited December 29, 20168 yr by seltinpixmile
December 30, 20168 yr Author 30 To 26 30. Zara Larsson- Lush Life: I like a lot but as I discovered listening to the radio after then I didn't start listening to it after some time although I knew I liked the song and then when I started listening to the song it was late. tD4HCZe-tew 29. Carly Rae Jepsen- Your Type: I love Carly. That's it. UlFMVzo9zuE 28. Twenty One Pilots- Ride: It hasn't been a time on the year that I really liked but as I liked for a lot of weeks it deserved to enter the Top30. Pw-0pbY9JeU 27. Hailee Steinfeld- Starving: I don't know why I discovered the song months later and depending on when I'm listening I really love it or I think the break is a bit bland... so that's why it's not higher, I really like it though  xwjwCFZpdns 26. Margaret- Cool Me Down: I discovered the song thanks to my voting chart, it's very catchy, it's like a pop song from a few years ago (nowadays the artists of those type of songs are no longer Pop singers or at least their music is more urban). HWX-Mw4dbCs
December 30, 20168 yr Lush Life is great, it will be much higher in my chart. Your Type is good aswell. I like Ride and Starving too, but they're not particularly great. Cool Me Down is quite good aswell.
December 30, 20168 yr Lush Life and Starving are my faves so far. :P Surprised Matt Terry just missed out on the top 30 here. :o Edited December 30, 20168 yr by Jason
December 30, 20168 yr Author Thank you for your comments :) Lush Life and Starving are my faves so far. :P Surprised Matt Terry just missed out on the top 30 here. :o The song was released less than 3 weeks ago so... it was a bit late to make the Top30... But there are some live performances of him inside the Top30 :D
December 30, 20168 yr Lush Life, Starving and Cool Me Down are my favourites from that section!
December 30, 20168 yr Author 25 To 21 25. Charli XCX- After The Afterparty: I really like the song and nowadays it is in my Top10 of the weekly chart but I started liking very late... and as you have read before the songs that I start liking late don't get very high. OM33anTtEVE 24. Matt Terry- Stand By Me (Audition): What Can I Say?  I don't really know when and why I watched his audition for the first time (because I wasn't watching the auditions when they were aired but... the only thing I remmenber is that I watched the Judges Houses when were aired so... ). It seems strange because I feel this is a very different Matt if I compare him with the Matt in the show (not in a bad way :D ). There is still one more Matt live to come :w00t: NTbWSBzP-H8 23. Bebe Rexha ft. Nicki Minaj- No Broken Hears: I know a lot of people hate the song but I quite like it, it's fun and it's a very good song to listen when you're in the street, at least for me, because I start singing and moving my body :yahoo: XoiEkEuCWog 22. Jojo- Save My Soul: Another song that I discovered thanks to my voting chart. It's very good  It's a shame the era is over but the third single was awful :puke2: _l7aUshhafo 21. Meghan Trainor- Me Too: The explanation that I've given for No Broken Hearts could be the same for this song  qDRORgoZxZU
