I think most of us never thought they would reform and then for them to it was great and now to get the albums we have got is even greater, im so happy they have reformed as we have got so much great material form them since they reformed.

I like the old and new equally, I think in general their output is great.

Starting my listen through. It's been about a year since the last time I've done this.

Dancing With A Broken Heart:

 

Not a fan of this at all. It's probably my least favourite single by them. The original version by Delta Goodrem is slightly better than this. I'm not sure what it is though.

 

 

Scared of the Dark:

 

What a song! What a comeback! Everything about this is just incredible. This was the most perfect comeback for them. It still sounds every bit as fresh as it did 5 years ago.

September Sun:

 

I don't mind this one. it's like a slightly watered down Paradise Los, and I think that works for it. I like it better than Dancing With A Broken Heart.

Neon Blue:

 

When I first heard the album I wasn't that keen on this, I just didn't get all the fuss. Over the past year or so though it's grown considerably on me. There's just something so joyous about it.

You Make Me Whole:

 

5 years in and I'm still unsure on this, I don't like it, but I don't hate it. I agree it sounds a little repetitive and I think that works against it.

Story of A Heart:

 

One of my favourite songs off the album. It feels Steps and the video to it is such a nice trip own memory lane.

Fool For You:

 

Not a big fan of this song, I agree the standard of the deluxe tracks are not as good as those on the standard release.

Happy:

 

This was one of my favourites when the album was released and it's held up quite well, it'd still be in the top handful of songs now for me.

No More Tears on the Dancefloor:

 

This was one of my least favourite songs back when the album was released, though it's grown on me a little over the years it's still far from a favourite of mine sadly.

Beautiful Battlefield:

 

The last of the 4 new songs, its ok without being great. Honestly the four new songs were a bit of a let down considering what came before and after them. September Sun is probably my favourite of the four though.

Firefly:

 

I think this is middle tier on the album for me, it's nice but it just falls a little short for me.

Space Between Us:

 

This would be my least favourite song from the standard edition of the album. I appreciate that's it's a little different but I'm just not that keen on it, I'm not sure why really.

Glitter & Gold:

 

I quite like this, this along with the next one sound tailor made for Steps in my opinion. The chorus is quite nice too.
