I'm sure at least one of Ed's tracks will manage 14/15 weeks too!

I think 'One Dance' would've "only" got 12 weeks had it not spent months at number one, it's against R1's policy to take off records from the playlist whilst they're still #1 so they kept it on until the week it fell to #5.

Hottest Record 19/1/17:

Mallory Knox - Better Off Without You

Party Playlist With Rae Sremmurd 19/1/17:

Rae Sremmurd - Swag

Migos - Bad And Boujee (feat. Lil Uzi Vert)

Childish Gambino - Redbone

Rae Sremmurd - Throw Sum Mo (feat. Nicki Minaj & Young Thug)

Rae Sremmurd - Black Beatles (feat. Gucci Mane)

The xx are picking the Party Playlist next week. They are on a roll with these guests!

Kings of Leon - Sex On Fire

Biffy Clyro - Re-arrange

Next week's takeover will be done by Sundara Karma

The Nixtape 20/1/17:

Gyptian - Hold You (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Danny L Harle - Broken Flowers

Kiesza - Hideaway

Avicii - Levels

Otto Knows - Million Voices

Sugababes - Round Round

At last a new Nixtape after last week's lazy efforts! Next week on the Breakfast show the guests including Dermot O'Leary & (Monday) James Arthur. (Wednesday) Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes are on Bingo on Tuesday while Greg James will have Adele Roberts pop in for RATHM on Wednesday and his Thursday guest is Neil Patrick Harris.

Deja Vu bangs pretty hard, I suppose it's already impacted in the top 40, though, so it probably won't do anything from here.
I think Bryson Tiller worked this sample better but I'm all for supporting J Cole!
^^ Incredible that Kanye West managed 10 weeks with 'Fade'! It was hardly a smash hit, it peaked at #50 with a 6 week run in the Top 75.

I guess they just didn't want to admit they'd been backing a clunker. :)

TOTD 22/01/17

Declan McKenna - The Kids Don't Wanna Come Home

What s dreary load of crap!

What s dreary load of crap!

Try Isombard - much better from him!

Hottest Record 20/1/17:

Franky Rizardo - Same Man

Next week's Hottest Records include those from Louis Berry (Monday) and High Contrast. (Tuesday)

Really good to see that Till West & DJ Delicious track given a new lease of life. Probably won't bother the charts but it's a decent enough update for Same Man.
Ugh they really do Rip the arse out of the big weekend throughout the whole year!
