Guess it was too much of a stretch for 'I Touch Myself' by Divinyls to be on there :kink:

Although P!nk's 'U & Ur Hand' is the ultimate modern day anthem about loving yourself

Don't forget Hailee Steinfeld's 'Love Myself' :kink:

Middle Of The Night has now been added to the R1 playlist starting Friday. Please all go crazy and tweet them everytime you hear it! 🔥🔥🔥

From The Vamps' manager! Superb news, glad they haven't snubbed it after all :D

Well that's a surprise! Thought that had been and gone ages ago. It does sound like it should be a hit, although I prefer a couple more of their new tracks over it.

I saw a few days ago that its impact date had been changed to some time in August so I did wonder whether Radio 1 would add it based on that. I agree it's a completely baffling release strategy though, it's almost like the song has been re-released. I don't know why they didn't just release a different lead single a couple of weeks before the album!

Sounds like Maggie has also been added.

How do you know? Has the playlist been published somewhere?

Yeah that's right, the impact date is 11th August according to Music Week! I had a little bit of renewed hope but still, a very odd strategy.

#9 on Spotify suggests not! :P

Middle Of The Night isn't going to do anything now but whatever, Radio 1

I wouldn't write it off yet, all it needs is Hot Hits UK and we know All Night took ages to get an add on there (not this long but still).

I really desperately want to hear their reasoning behind Duffy being a one hit wonder.

If they can add Maggie and The Vamps this late, should I still hold out for Carly?

(OK, I'll stop dreaming now)

I'm pretty sure the reasons for the Vamps' and Maggie's adds are because

1- The Vamps are about to go #1 in the albums

2- Maggie just went top 10 a couple weeks ago and doesn't look like it's going anywhere, so they've given in
