Looking forward to The Killers, I wonder if they'll perform The Man or something new by then?

At last for Maggie and The Vamps. Anyway... Tomorrow's Summer Mixes are BBQ Bangers Volume 2 and One Hit Wonders Volume 2.

One Hit Wonders Volume 2:

Spiller - Groovejet (If This Ain't Love)

Mini Viva - Left My Heart In Tokyo

DJ Pied Piper & The Masters of Ceremonies - Do You Really Like It

Alexis Jordan - Happiness

Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra)

Duffy - Mercy

Mint Royale - Singing In The Rain

3 of a Kind - Babycakes

The Bravery - An Honest Mistake

MAGIC! - Rude

Audio Bullys - Shot You Down

Bodyrox - Yeah Yeah (feat. Luciana)

Sam and The Womp - Bom Bom

Gramophonedzie - Why Don't You

Sigh.. Warwick Avenue, Stepping Stone, Rain On Your Parade, Don't Falter, Sexiest Man In Jamaica, Blue Song... You'd think people would remember that last one because the video seems to be mentioned in every review of Baby Driver... The Things, I'm In Love, Real Life.

(coincidence - some of the first recordings Duffy ever did were session vocals on the third Mint Royale album, but they didn't have any hits together)

Maybe they should have taken the Rembrandts and Phantom Planet tracks from the TV themes mix instead.

I'm still utterly baffled that they put Duffy in that category when 'Warwick Avenue' was such a gigantic smash.

Did they mention it anywhere or give any sort of justification?

Also 30 Seconds To Mars are a bit of a random booking, they haven't been around for ages. Half their target audience won't even know who they are

Up In The Air got big rotation on Radio 1 back in 2013, so I think most will be aware of them!

Let's hope this means acts like 30 Secs to Mars & Pink have new albums in the 3rd quarter since they're on promoting and The Killers will prob have single 2 by then as their albums out round then - I expect it to be hottest record sometime in early August!

P!nk has a new single confirmed for definite so it would seem 30 Seconds To Mars are probably heading that way too. Chris Martin being on his own suggests solo material coming?

Wonder if Pink will still be popular - she's been away for a while!

Yeh but it performed averagely and I think radio 1 gave it B list plays!
Duffy a one hit wonder? No...

Other ones aren't one hit wonders either,

Bodyrox had another hit with N-Dubz - We Dance On. As did Luciana with 'Bigger than Big' (with Super Mal).

Alexis Jordan had two more hits Good Girl on her own and Got 2 Love U with Sean Paul.

Audio Bullies had a top 20 hit with We Don't Care in 2003 (later used on a Lucozade advert in the late 00s)

Adele says that one of the most defining moments in her life was when she watched Pink perform at Brixton Academy in London. She states: "It was the Missundaztood record, so I was about 13 or 14. I had never heard, being in the room, someone sing like that live […]I remember sort of feeling like I was in a wind tunnel, her voice just hitting me. It was incredible.

If she sings like that live I am sure she will be.

yeah but they're for all intents and purposes one-hit wonders as they're only remembered for one song. there's no justifying Duffy being a 'one hit wonder' though as Mercy and Warwick Avenue were both massive

I remember We Dance On by N-Dubz and Bodyrox very well, I really liked how it sampled classical music piece Pachelbel's Canon, which I already knew.

Weird Bodyrox being in it as it isn't a dance song but I guess they were doing what Paul Oakenfold had done in 2002 and what Calvin Harris is doing now and going outside dance music. I like We Dance On better than Yeah Yeah I think.

Maybe they got Bodyrox mixed up with Bodyrockers, who really were a one-hit wonder?

I was being generous and not counting features because people might very well remember 'We Dance On' as an N-Dubz song and not associate it with Bodyrox.

Yeah, I've seen P!nk live twice, and her voice is absolutely incredible.

R1 will obviously still support her upcoming era but it could possibly be the last one they do before throwing her over the fence to Radio 2.

Based on impact dates, I think the following could be added tomorrow:

Bastille - Glory

Chase & Status feat. Emeli Sandé - Love Me More

Circa Waves - Out On My Own

Chainsmokers - Honest

Also the following must be in with a shout:

Louis Tomlinson/Bebe Rexha - Back To You

Zedd/Liam Payne - Get Low

Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry

Selena Gomez - Fetish

Lana Del Rey - Summer Bummer
