Did anybody else watch Benedict Cumberbatch in The Child In Time tonight on BBC1?

It was quite hard to follow at the start but it turned into a really beautiful story, well acted by all but especially BC.

A story of loss and inner child.

Just watched it back Laura, Gosh !! , that was unusual , left you guessing either way

Sorry to see Chizzy go tonight in SCD , I think she would have been great fun. Brian C was lucky , it's all a bit open at the bottom & those at the top are very very good

I was sure the Reverend was going to go. I'm glad Brian Conley didn't. I enjoyed his routine last night. ^_^

There are so many really good dancers already. I'm really enjoying it.

We started watching The Front Line on BBC1 tonight - anyone else? About Aden in 1960s? It's part one of six.

Kind of like an updated Soldier Soldier. It made a promising start.

Yes that Reverned is a bit annoying especially when he dangles his arms in the air , there is no real character in the show this year , I liked Chizzie , she cried so much when she was voted out ...

Was it just me , I was not blown away by Debbie McGees performance last night on SCD , I did not think that they connected throughout the dance , for me it was a very cold performance

Ruth & Anton were very funny , , Ruth really goes for it :P

Gemma is really good at the Latin , ballroom does not come natural to her but she really tries , she is a really fit looking girl , looks like she spends a lot of time in the gym , very healthy looking

Brilliant BBC1 entertainment for us tonight.

Strictly, Blue Planet and The Last Post. All excellent. B-)

Alexandra really is amazing isn't she? It was like watching one of the professional dancers.

I think at this stage in the proceedings she will win, Debbie McGee second and Joe third.

Started watching the new Howard's End tonight. Promising start. :)

Mr Stanley wasn't impressed by the "screeching violins" though. <_<

You never know with that show Laura , Joe could be the dark horse in the comp, he is really good as well, that was an extremely difficult routine that he did so was very impressive, I think Kathya is a great choreographer

This is starting on BBC fairly soon, the trailer looked good

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6271042/

Alex Godman, the English-raised son of Russian mafia exiles, has spent his life trying to escape the shadow of their past, building his own legitimate business and forging a life with his girlfriend Rebecca. But when a murder forces his family's past to return to threaten them, Alex is drawn into the criminal underworld and must confront his values to protect those he loves.

Went to see Murder on the Orient Express tonight. I loved it. :)

Kenneth Branagh was brilliant and the camerawork/scenery - spectacular. B-)

It's the kind of film Brits do so well isn't it?

Couldn't believe the cost of the ticket though Tess - £13.75! :o

Only a few years ago we were getting into Orange Wednesday for a fiver.

It is extortionate now - and that was mid week! Goodness knows what the prices are on a Saturday night.
