I do too actually, at first I was just thinking she's another cliche but I like that Bernadette's pregnancy storyline and the little bits with Chatham have shown she has a heart. There's clearly something else there, I think it's just that she will go to any length for her children and I like that about her, it's fierce loyalty and I think as she makes friends on the street she will do anything for anyone. I can't remember what interview I read but they said Karen is the sort of person who doesn't have a lot but she'd give you her last tenner if you needed it. I think there' the sort of hammed up chav side for a bit of comedy and then there's that very real side, I am thinking John Yorke might have more of the latter, hopefully.
