Woody Harrelson picks up his 2nd nom of the evening as he ends up here with his twin for the only film on this list I haven't seen yet! More nominations for BvS: DoJ here as Jesse Eisenberg picks up 2 noms and Shailene/Theo score a 2nd nomination in a row for the Divergent franchise. Though Ben/Owen to storm the win here please, they are utterly horrendous together in Zoolander 2 together and are an awful screen combo! February 4, 20178 yr Trying to get a few done on my break at work looool WORST COMEDY http://i.imgur.com/jgn85yJ.jpg - Zoolander 2 - - Bad Santa 2 - - Dirty Grandpa - Only three comedies managed to get enough votes to be nominated for Worst Comedy this year. Zoolander 2 continues its terrible fortune at this year's awards with yet another nomination in a category that I imagine it will win. Bad Santa 2 would be my choice, the jokes were all terrible and the characters were some of the most unlikable characters I've seen on-screen in years. I'm a bit gutted about the Dirty Grandpa nomination tbh because I thought it was pretty hilarious and both leads had excellent chemistry.

February 4, 20178 yr WORST DRAMA http://i.imgur.com/xBcb5L4.jpg - 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi - - War Dogs - - Collateral Beauty - - Criminal - Shock at Criminal getting yet another nomination :o I think that has firmly been confirmed as one of the worst films of the year according to Buzzjack but the other three haven't received too much hate up until now. War Dogs was marketed as a comedy and whilst that area of the movie was terrible, I actually quite enjoyed the main dramatic storyline so a bit sad about seeing it here despite not loving the film. I really liked Collateral Beauty and especially the twist at the end but it did get terrible reviews so not unexpected. I didn't see 13 Hours but apparently it's just full of more Michael Bay explosions so that's doesn't come as a surprise either really :lol:
February 4, 20178 yr WORST ANIMATED FILM http://i.imgur.com/D2YvxKg.jpg - Ice Age: Collision Course - - Kung Fu Panda 3 - - Anomalisa - - Angry Birds Movie - I don't think this year had any really bad animated films so I guess some of these nominations seem a bit harsh. Especially Kung Fu Panda 3 which remains absolutely gorgeous to look at despite a few too many juvenile jokes to make it fantastic. Anomalisa is actually Oscar nominated but I think it did get a few poor reviews for being dull but I didn't see it myself. I think the Ice Age formula may have seen its best days now but to be honest, I still had a good time watching it and would still watch Ice Age 6 if we get one too. I didn't see the Angry Birds movie because I missed its original run in cinemas but I actually thought it looked pretty good, I guess not though :o

February 4, 20178 yr WORST FILM http://i.imgur.com/vfKhLbJ.jpg - London Has Fallen - - Criminal - - Allegiant - - Independence Day: Resurgence - So here are the four films that have been deemed by you guys as the absolute worst of 2016 and the thing I'm most shocked about is no Zoolander 2 after all the other hatred it got for the rest of the night :o All of these films have picked up multiple nominations tonight though so I guess it's not too much of a surprise. My choice for the win would probably be between London Has Fallen and Allegiant which were both a bit embarrassing. Independence Day at least had some good action scenes and laughs to be had and Criminal I haven't seen although it doesn't seem to be very good at all. And that's it for the nominees this year, sorry for the rushed presentation but a half hour dinner break goes fast when you're having fun. Join me after 10 for the movies awards nominees! February 4, 20178 yr Not a great night for DC then.. I'm a bit sad for them really because I've enjoyed both movies, especially Suicide Squad which I really liked and was in my EOY top 10 from last year. I do hope Wonder Woman (and Justice League) can turn it around for them critically this year so they can move forward with some more exciting movies without having to restart or reboot.
