Posted October 10, 200618 yr ...just watched this on More4 - damn good, it was. Realistic footage, shot in a documentary style - superb acting all round (from the talking heads).... pretty faultless, really.
October 10, 200618 yr Would love to see this at some point... Hope that it turns up on regular Channel 4....

And he's actually Hungarian I've been told.. I saw that prog last year on regular Channel 4, he's got an interesting book called "Everything You Wanted to Know About Lacan But Were Afraid to Ask Hitchcock". He's pretty odd, but cool, marrying Film Theory with Fruedianism and Psychoanalysis.... Not that he's the first one to do that, but he does it in a more entertaining way than most other do...
October 17, 200618 yr I watched it and thought it was very good. Had to occasionally keep reminding myself that it was only a film and that it wasn't actually happening!
October 21, 200618 yr Much as I DESPISE Bush and would not be sorry if it happened for real I found this film distasteful to re-enact the death of a man while he is still alive
October 22, 200618 yr I thought that it was a brave and fantastic film - really hit the nail on the head for me..... I just loved the bit where the guy said "Well, Bush believes in the death penalty, if he was on trial for war crimes that's what he'd get, so that makes him a candidiate for assassination...". Seems like a pretty good justification for shooting the man for real..... Hoisted by his own petard, poetic justice really.....

I would not be remotely upset if Bush was assassinated ^_^ Infact I would probably cheer, he is as bad as Hussein, Bin Laden, Mugabe etc and just because he has been democratically elected albeit by fraudulent means first time round does not make him any better than the other mass murderers I listed
October 23, 200618 yr I like Bush, hes a man of action, and he gets my vote Thank fukk you can't vote in a US election, that's all I can say....
October 23, 200618 yr Author I like Bush, hes a man of action, and he gets my vote oh please - act your age not your shoe size.

October 25, 200618 yr love to known what Al "Thunderbird Puppet" Gore would have been like  A LOT better than Dubya that's for damn sure...... An intelligent, cultured and eloquent man who geniunely seems to care about our Planet.... Have you seen his quite fantastic "An Inconvienient Truth" documentary..?
October 28, 200618 yr A LOT better than Dubya that's for damn sure...... An intelligent, cultured and eloquent man who geniunely seems to care about our Planet.... Have you seen his quite fantastic "An Inconvienient Truth" documentary..? nope haven't seen it, but would he have really done much different to respond to 9/11?
October 28, 200618 yr nope haven't seen it, but would he have really done much different to respond to 9/11? It is unlikely that 9/11 would have happened in the first place under Gore but that is just pure speculation
October 28, 200618 yr nope haven't seen it, but would he have really done much different to respond to 9/11? Well, for a start, I seriously doubt he would've invaded Iraq.. What I reckon he would've done however would be to specifically target terrorist training camps as opposed to being bogged down in a lengthy conflict in a foreign country which has done absolutely nothing to improve matters....
