Giants was used on Dancing On Ice on the opening tonight of the show.

 

Hopefully it will attract a bit of interest in the song.

I'd love for Giants to stream it's way to Silver status purely so every album has a hit single attached to it. Things like this are great for exposure so hopefully it'll get certified.

How far away is it from silver, i would have believed it is a long way off?

It is unfortunately a long way off not even halfway there (less than 100,000 copies) however it was wishful thinking!!

 

It would have been good to have another certified lead off single from the album however they did well to even chart that highly 27 years later in the singles chart when compared to others in the same position.

For such an established act they are doing well to achieve top 20 hits. That said, i am slightly worried more about the huge decline in the album sales for them. I had thought a platinum selling studio album was a given but sadly the streak has been broken with Wonderland.

 

I do believe The Greatest Hits should perform well for them and potentially reach double platinum.

It was a good performance too so hopefully it’s picked up a thousand or so extra sales - every little helps!

Yes, all sales help and it should achieve trickle sales if used on further shows or when they tour or perform on any shows.
