Making myself pretty for it.

Ok let's get started with Best Animated Picture!

Who's won?! I can reveal it is very very close! Like extremely close!

Predict away!

Your nominees:

Finding Dory

Kubo & The Two Strings

Moana

Sausage Party

Trolls

Zootropolis

I can see 'Zootropolis' winning this with 'Finding Dory', 'Moana' & 'Kubo' following (i.e. I can't call 2nd/3rd/4th out of them)?
BEST ANIMATED PICTURE

http://i1250.photobucket.com/albums/hh537/ultraviolence1989/zoo_zpsbyw3xbup.gif

01. Zootropolis (5 / 3)
02. Finding Dory (5 / 2)
03. Kubo & The Two Strings (2 / 2)
04. Moana (1 / 2)
05. Sausage Party (1 / 0)
06. Trolls (0 / 2)

Thank f*** for that *.* I love Finding Dory but yassssss at Zootropolis winning here! <3

Kicking us off in last place is the fabulous Trolls :( Trolls is actually nominated for Best Pic unlike the 3 films above it oops! Definitely in my top half of films here and is a joyful delight! A sequel has just been announced to come out in 2020 as well! <3. Next up is Sausage Party which rly shouldn't have been nominated and deservedly struggles- it robbed The Secret Life Of Pets' deserved spot here. Shocked Moana didn't put up more of a fight here :o It shocked me that it was snubbed in the main category but its struggle here rly surprised me considering it has a big buzzjack fanbase. Though barely any of that fanbase voted so that probably explains why it flopped :P Into 3rd we have the utterly wonderfully eternally underrated Kubo & The Two Strings which does very well here! <3 Such a fabulous animation that I strongly recommend! Into 2nd we have Finding Dory which was another great sequel and is in the top half side of Pixar flicks for me!

So the winner is Disney with the wonderful Zootropolis *.* My favourite flick of 2016, its funny, fantastic and thrilling and so deserving of its award here! It picked up 5 1st preference votes and secured the win on 2nd preference votes!

BEST DRAMA

http://i.imgur.com/5xr0Ooz.gif

01. Arrival (8 / 2)
02. The Girl On The Train (3 / 3)
03. Nocturnal Animals (2 / 4)
04. Eye In The Sky (1 / 2)
05. Money Monster (1 / 0)
06. Sully (0 / 1)

Complete landslide here, and completely deserved also! Arrival is a lot better than the bottom 3 films and is a million/trillion/billion times better than Noctrunal Animals and bloody Girl On The Train

Sully flops here. I think the nomination for it was the win here tbh, I'm so glad it got nominated though as it is really underrated! I thought Money Monster would do better and Eye In The Sky would come dead last so both films kinda didn't do what I think they would! Both great films, Eye In The Sky in particular, and its good to see Buzzjack recognise them despite their early year releases! I don't rly get the love for Nocturnal Animals so I'm glad it didn't win here. Loved the book for The Girl On The Train but the film was an abomination so thank gosh Arrival was nominated here.

And the winner in one of the biggest landslides of the evening is Arrival *.* Terrific and dramatic film and another genre prize it has picked up tonight!

Horror is next! Predict away!

Your nominations:

- 10 Cloverfield Lane -

- Don't Breathe -

- Green Room -

- The Conjuring 2 -

- The Witch -

- Train To Busan -

Btw this is the schedule for tonight after horror:

Soundtrack

Character

Script

Adaptation of Source Material

Ensemble

Directing

Hopefully most of those will be done before I eat!

then hopefully Josh/Jahq will be around at some point and we will do the 4 acting categories and Picture tonight/tomorrow! If neither of them show by like 10ish I'll reveal the bottom halves of the 4 acting categories and leave them to reveal the top 3 per category and just do picture all of us together!

BEST HORROR

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/multimedia/archive/01079/94ed1362-ec52-11e5_1079908c.jpg

01. 10 Cloverfield Lane (7 / 2)
02. The Witch (3 / 2)
03. Train To Busan (2 / 2)
04. The Conjuring 2 (2 / 1)
05. Don't Breathe (1 / 3)
06. Green Room (0 / 0)

Complete landslide here again, though this time I wish it was The Witch winning!

Green Room completely flops here, still haven't seen it but I rly need to considering its on Netflix! Don't Breathe comes surprisingly low for the critical/box office smash though it got a lot of 2nd preference votes! Still haven't seen it but Sky just announced it is premiering at the start of next month on Sky Movies so will finally catch it then! The Conjuring 2 also shocked me by failing to make the top 2 here! Loved it so much more when compared to the first one and was a great scare! Haven't seen Train To Busan but it's small but vocal fanbase on Buzzjack see it pick up a very respectable and shockingly high finish! My personal favourite, the terrifying and thrilling 'The Witch' comes 2nd and does very well here, wish it would win but I know it has its vocal crowd here that find it quite overrated!

And the winner in another landslide is the kind of horror 10 Cloverfield Lane, another resounding win for the film!

Surely it's '10 Cloverfield Lane'? I'll be VERY surprised if it isn't, considering all the nominations and support it gets on here

'Moana' is ridiculously under appreciated. I enjoyed it SO MUCH MORE than 'Zootropolis' (and I liked that a lot!) </3

EDIT: Yep. It's a shame coz I really don't consider it to be a horror! All the other nominations deserved this award more, tbh.

BEST SOUNDTRACK

01. Suicide Squad (6 / 0)
02. Sing Street (3 / 0)
03. Moana (2 / 3)
04. Trolls (1 / 4)
05. Bridget Jones's Baby (1 / 2)
06. The Neon Demon (1 / 1)
07. Ghostbusters (0 / 0)

really buzzjack??? that winning?? wtaf.. we'll get to that later

Anyway Ghostbusters also flops horrifically bad, I loved the film but the soundtrack was crap bar Elle King's anthem so it kinda deserves this finish tbh. The Neon Demon - which featured Sia's 800th movie song to be released in the last couple of years and was a score apart from that - picked up a couple of votes and the surprisingly struggling to get nominations here Bridget Jones's Baby also underwhelms. Shocked that Trolls/Moana weren't the top 2 here, yet alone BOTH missing the top 2 :( :( Both soundtracks are fab, Trolls is a whole barrel of fun with Anna Kendrick's Get Back Up Again leading the charge and Moana has typically great Disney music, especially from You're Welcome and movie song winner How Far I'll Go! Sing Street does really well here which is nice to see, fabulous film and so underrated and the music was also great!

And we end up with that winning... the soundtrack which took up nearly 70% of the worst song nominations and has ONE good song (which is linked above) on the soundtrack. ugh.

Character next, predict guys!

- Captain America - Captain America: Civil War -

- Deadpool - Deadpool -

- Dory - Finding Dory -

- Harley Quinn - Suicide Squad -

- Judy Hopps - Zootropolis -

- Jyn Erso - Rogue One: A Star Wars Story -

- Nick Wilde - Zootropolis -

Hopefully Harley has this one, with Captain America 2nd!

The 'Suicide Squad' soundtrack was one of the redeeming features about the movie  It was a very well thought out soundtrack. Not QUITE to the level of 'Guardians...' imo, but still very good and a deserved win. It seems to be one of the things people liked most about the film in general too, so it's quite representative on the whole

also I am currently listening to Not Today from Me Before You and I really wish that got a nomination in the song category! such a stunning beauty <3

also I am currently writing prep for this next category and trying to not go crazy at having a second HORRENDOUS winner in a row after that soundtrack horror
