October 12, 200619 yr Author From PopBitch X Factor winner Steve Brookstein's second album sold 200 copies on its release day, Monday. I don't know if I want to laugh or cry, but I'm not going to upset Steve Brookstein fans who are viewing this thread as guests. I dare anyone who is willing to post that info on his official site -_-
October 12, 200619 yr I don't know if I want to laugh or cry, but I'm not going to upset Steve Brookstein fans who are viewing this thread as guests. I dare anyone who is willing to post that info on his official site -_- He'll no doubt sell a bit more by Sunday, he could find himself inside the Top 40, particularly as album sales are down this week, he should get over a 1000 copies at least....maybe more.
October 12, 200619 yr Well I personally cannot see MCR doing 2 weeks so it'll probably be Razorlight again for this week and next week. I doubt Meatloaf, Ordinary Boys or James Morrison will be #1
October 13, 200619 yr I don't know if I want to laugh or cry, but I'm not going to upset Steve Brookstein fans who are viewing this thread as guests. I dare anyone who is willing to post that info on his official site -_- Well I am not surprised considering many have been having almost as much luck purchasing it as they did the single. I had to order mine online and it arrived after the release date. Many have had to purchase theirs online after the release date also. Plus some have been buying a few copies to send to people in their families and been buying in one transaction rather than singley to make more impact on the charts. You won't upset me. I am a big Steve Brookstein fan, think he has a great voice and good songs and is a great songwriter. Each to their own though, as I know many who won't buy into a reality show winner and just for that fact alone will not appreciate him or his music. I and many do appreciate Steve's music though and realise without great backing and a known label behind him, it will take some time to get some credibility back. All Steve wants as with most music artists is to get his music back out there and heard and appreciated, if it takes a little time then it takes a little time :) There, I have said my little piece there :) Just hope the album sales begin to pick up now, maybe slowly and surely, but as long as they pick up :) Edited October 13, 200619 yr by Gone Too Long
October 13, 200619 yr Well I personally cannot see MCR doing 2 weeks so it'll probably be Razorlight again for this week and next week. I doubt Meatloaf, Ordinary Boys or James Morrison will be #1  Sales will be so low next week, probably the second lowest of the year. I assume MCR will drop like a stone and sell under 20k next week, Razorlight will probably drop to around 20k-ish aswell. I reckon it's between whether the Scissors can stay above 20k next week, or if The Ordinary Boys can sell that much, and I reckon they can. James Morrison and Meat Loaf should all be top ten though easily, you'll probably only need 10k to make it!
October 13, 200619 yr Girls Aloud should bring their single forward a week then - They'd be pretty much garunteed number one :(
October 13, 200619 yr My Chem Romance is pulling away at #1 from razorlight! Over 2000 in the lead now, beatfreakz are up to #10 in the singles and James Morrison is a download only entry at #20! Albums are similar, Connie Fisher is up to 12 though. Care of Haven.

October 13, 200619 yr Wow-MCR 2K ahead now-I guess the London signing really helped-they are doing well on physicals aren't they... Good for Beatfreakz-always nice to see a dance act garner 2 top 10 hits, even if I really despise Superfreak...
