I'm just glad that this is going to give Touch more streams on Spotify anyway. I want it to reach 100M plays!

Also, I'm not sure if it's the addition on the playlist or just Ed's songs falling off, but Touch is #25 on Spotify UK so YAY! Hopefully it can overtake SOTME as their #1 best selling song, tho I find this very unlikely

Are their team really stupid? Why would they pull the plug on radio, then put it on the Spotify playlists soon after?! I really don't understand!

I don't think their team has anything to do with the Today's Top Hits add.

I didn't realise it was still as high as #25. Fantastic longevity. Here's hoping it manages to claw a few more weeks too 40, since its chart run was cut short by Drake/Ed Sheeran. I imagine it would've become their longest runner otherwise.

This got moved up Today's Top Hits 11 places. That means the listeners are reacting well to it, right?

Ahhh! PLEASE be an unexpected hit! What if this gradually built up so much momentum, would radio start playing it more free willingly? Or would it be more that their label will see it's doing well and pay higher payola for them etc...?

If it did well enough on Spotify to start charting on Billboard 100, then radio might get on board. It would need to get to like top 30 on US Spotify though.

I definitely think it is as it still climbed on the global chart. I want Touch to be on Today's Top Hits for at least 3 weeks, it deseves it more than SOTME, a much more "skippable" song. People usually want drinking and partying songs there.

It actually makes me feel physically ill when I see that James bloody Arthur has hit the top 20 with 'Say You Won't Let Go' in the US... :drama:
Expecting this to get a good Now 96 boost this week!
I'm still so obsessed with Touch. So glad to hear it's still #11 on airplay.. Does it feel like a proper british smash?
