Posted March 21, 20178 yr http://i.imgur.com/J8oX1H7.jpg This year's Record Store Day (22 April) will see a four track EP Dance Mix - previously released in 1985 only in South America - made available worldwide. Only 8,000 copies are set to be released, so make sure you get your hands on it if you're interested! Tracking List Side A: 1. Into The Groove (4.40) 2. Angel (Extended Dance Mix) (6.15) Side B: 1. March 29, 20178 yr The sarcasm is in the fact people will be queuing. More like shoving to get to the front :P
April 1, 20178 yr Author ^ :P Tbf it is a nice treat for the fans - I thought there wasn't anything particularly essential about its tracking-list, but I can't find any of those versions of the tracks (bar 'Into the Groove' of course) on YouTube so clearly it is very rare!
April 22, 20178 yr Author Record Store Day is today if anyone wants to get their hands on this Madonna EP or any other record that is being specially released!
April 24, 20178 yr Author Currently #46 on the official UK album update! Little under 900 copies sold.
April 27, 20178 yr Author I'm not too sure actually. It's neither over 25 minutes nor does it have more than 4 songs, which is what the OCC state in their rules as what makes a release eligible for the album chart.
April 29, 20178 yr Author It seems the EP appearing in the album chart on Monday's update was a mistake (this can happen in the first set of mids) and it's considered a single, charting under 'Into the Groove' (as that is the first song on the EP; I also assume sales for 'Into the Groove' itself will be included): #7: Physical Singles Chart #7: Vinyl Singles Chart #88: Single Sales Chart
April 30, 20178 yr Author I suppose if you consider the sales of this EP and the downloads/streams of 'Into the Groove' itself, it could be another ~2k added to its total. It's ~900k on pure sales but I have no idea what Madonna's streaming is like. I suspect 1m combined sales is way off the horizon for now, though. :(
