Anyone else think that Corrie's really picked up in the last few months? Not too much of Gemma and the babies either.

I’ve noticed an improvement over the last couple of weeks! We’ve seen a better split between the cast where not just that character is at the forefront and we’ve seen a variety of different people shine.

Things are going to go from bad to worse for Robert in the run up to Christmas as he's strongly suspected of doing away with Vicky. She'll turn up alive I bet.

Geoff is low key one of my favourites right now.

 

He plays his part so well. He’s a great actor as he’s provoking strong feelings against his character. I have to say it’s really interesting watching an abuse story like this play out without actual violence being involved it’s definitely the strongest story the shows doing at the minute. I hope Geoff actor gets a nomination for best villain at the soap awards.

The character is revolting, you just see how easily he finds to ruin every moment of happiness for Jasmine.

The actor is playing the part very well and provoking the feelings of great disgust.

I like the pace of the storyline, it is building slowly.

 

Don't like Geoff but the wife was saying last night that verbal and psychological abuse is an interesting storyline that needs covering by soaps as it's just as bad as physical abuse.

A DS poster said it's leading up to Yasmeen killing Geoff in self-defence soon.

I hope it doesn’t go that way there’s better ways of going about it I think.

 

I’m hoping we get a

Casting for Tims mother soon though to tie into this storyline.

 

We’ve never seen her before but it seems quiet clear Geoff has treated others this way too. Maybe Cathy could track her down as she’s now suspicious of him after Monday’s ep

 

Executive Producer Ian MacLeod says there's a "huge horrific" storyline coming up in Spring that will tear two families apart. Involves Steve and Tracy and leads to Liz's departure but nothing else leaked yet.

Fiz has the crappyiest of friends, none of them standing by her.

In soapland, it amazes me how quick friends turn on their friends in their hour of need.

 

Corrie is the worst soap for having people suddenly hate someone when they need support the most.

 

Jenny has been the worst for it lately. It wasn’t that long ago she was kidnapping kids herself so she needs to wind her neck in tbh. She’s turned into a right judgemental harpy since she become land lady.

 

I’m actually quite fond of Fiz as a character tbh. She’s like someone you’d know in real life (well maybe minus the marrying a serial killer and going to jail).

Fizz may have her faults but has a very good heart.

As well as everyone being quick to turn on someone, why have they all been wrongly imprisoned :lol: also is there one couple on the street that hasn’t cheated?
