So upsetting :cry: A huge performance by them was needed and Power totally deserves it.

It won't be on the same peformance levels but surely they'll be performing this at the One Love concert?

That sucks -- 'Power' really could've done with the performance, but it can't be helped. The Manchester concert is for an amazing cause, and I'm glad it took precedence.

Yeah that's my biggest complaint about all this. Laying low for days letting people speculate whether they'd do it or not just to come up and say one day before the show and say "yeah we won't do it bye" is pretty shit.

I'm really happy they're doing the concert in Manchester but I can't lie - I'm super disappointed about BGT. Just imagine the performance we would have gotten. It would have been iconic!

Surely they could of pre-recorded the performance and then done the Manchester gig. I'm not going to lie I am slightly disappointed about them missing BGT but I think it makes more sense for them to take the Manchester gig! Power has placed in the top 40 today at 27. Making it their 17th single to reach the top 40, yet their lowest charting single so far.

It is a huge shame, because I imagine their entire release strategy was centered around the BGT performance. I still think it'll outperform NMSS though, especially if it also receives a discount.

C'mon Simon, do the right thing and debut the video on BGT!

Tbf, we don't know what was happening behind the scenes. Maybe they were trying to figure out a way that the performance could still go ahead, until they realised they wouldn't have much rehearsal time etc..?

I do agree with this, I actually think a BGT performance would have pushed it top 5, but oh well.

Not really, BGT final was a once a year opportunity. I still think it'll be at least a minor hit for them.

Well, promotion was obviously planned for the BGT final but they weren't available on Saturday. That's just unfortunate really and hardly their fault.
