Harry's track never expected that, it's locked for No1 most definitely. At first i thought it be a cover version of the Belle Stars hit from the 80s  for younger members ask your parents

Geez at this Harry tack being nearly six minutes long though  I wonder if that will hurt it in the long run?

Haven't heard the song though and I'm going to try and avoid it for as long as possible seeing as I hated all of One Direction's output.

To be fair, Zayn's songs with Snakehips and PARTYNEXTDOOR are low-key bangers.

I quite like those to be fair but I can't imagine Harry will take a similar urban direction seeing as from what I've read it's a Bowie inspired pop-rock song

It's very different to anything One Direction ever released. It's hardly "pop" at all, it's more like a retro indie rock song. Very Bowie indeed.

That's a good thing, we need more variety in the charts at the moment!

It's a nice soft rock ballad song it draws you in as the track rolls on but it's a tad too long. It also feels like a James Bond theme track in places. I do see the David Bowie contrast.

102. Beyoncé - Die With You

111. Gorillaz feat Mavis Staples & Pusha T – Let Me Out

154. JP Cooper - Passport Home

490. Martin Garrix & Brooks - Byte

1244. Kid Ink - F With U (feat. Ty Dolla $ign)

Well that's Harry Styles on course to become an incredibly big star for the long haul. We were warned it would be very Bowie/Queen and it certainly leans towards the former.

And it didn't even feel like 5:40 of my time which says a lot! Very impressed.

Just listened to Harry's song. He's absolutley fit as f***, but the song is kinda boring. ZAYN definitely had a better debut.. Its criminal that Cruel wasn't a massive hit too!

Omg that was quick!

Could really do without another NE and 12 week stay at the top tho!

I see Shape of You is off the radio 1 A list and is replaced with Harry Styles! And Kendrick is C listed!!

I just hope Harry doesn't stick around at #1 far too long though, otherwise if he has a run of 12 weeks at #1, its like 2 numbers ones in 6 months.

I can't see this being more than a 2 week at #1 to be honest (possibly only 1). Not because it's a bad song, but simply because it's not commercail enough. It'll make it this week for sure I'd say, but in the long run I think it's more of an album seller, and he'll do big album numbers off the back of the song.

I can see Symphony being #1 the next Friday or the Friday after.
