April 13, 20178 yr I think GMAYL actually has a really good video to be fair. GGW's video is alright, has a few really good (gif-able) shots in it. TUTR's video is pointless.
April 14, 20178 yr Author I do have a soft spot for the 'Give Me All Your Luvin'' video. Despite its alleged big budget, it looks quite cheap and a bit of a parody yet that somehow allows me to just enjoy it for the funny (intentional or not), not taking itself seriously visual that it is. It almost takes the mick of the song itself, as if Madonna knew it was quite naff. There's lots of gifable moments and I remember the surge of them that were over the internet at the time. The 'Girl Gone Wild' video is actually quite good, like genuinely good. I wouldn't have had the song released as a single but I can kind of accept the fact it was due to giving us this video. It's totally style-over-substance but it has some great choreography, particularly in the middle section, and all the Madonna looks are on point. 'Turn Up the Radio' is pretty naff though. The first thing I notice and the main thing to detract my attention is the really awful editing and effects that are used; it's like someone has just discovered Photoshop for the first time and has added every effect known to man. I don't like her look with the hangover shades and the car riding theme feels very generic. GGW > GMAYL > TUTR
